Just thought I might let ya'll know that the tops of mushrooms, in English (at least in the US, not so sure about them Brits, they have silly names for everything.), are referred to as caps not hats. ;)

In swedish it's called "hatt" so it's easy to forget and translate it to "hat" instead of cap ;)

They look a bit better now when the underside isnt flat like that..

they are really splendid in game!!!

On your second image (http://piclair.com/data/dj3ii.jpg), I have the impression that it misses small something with your mushrooms.
I think that it is its: http://yfrog.com/j244cvnj

I think i'll go with the multi-stem shrooms for my AI tree mod, to stay true to the lore and release the "normal" mushrooms as resources.

Superb mushrooms, they will not be long in replacing those of my game. :P

On the other hand on your http://piclair.com/data/x0brc.jpg, couldn't you make so that one of the 3 trunks do not start from a little more high?

Or something of similar?

p.s: do I hope that I'm not too annoying? >.<

Actually that's a good suggestion - less symmetry would look less repetitive.

I love them. One thing I would like to see is a little wet look to them. I think MCP introduced working gloss maps. That should work on them. I'm not sure though.

I'm remaking the stems completely, still tweaking everything but your comments are, as always, very welcome.

I'll look up gloss maps, that would be really great if it worked. What about glow maps for the caps, glow-in-the-dark-mushrooms ;)

Experimenting with gloss maps.

Seems to work ok, it's very visible in the night, as you can see. Haven't been able to make a believable glossy surface yet though, looks very metallic (awesome for armors).
