[WIP] Empire Coat - With pseudo cloth physics using HDTPE

Post » Sun Feb 23, 2014 1:03 pm

This is a simple yet stylish coat based on the "Empire Coat" design created by Camilla Wellton (a Swedish fashion designer)

It was intended as a test work to experiment different approaches to create pseudo cloth physics using the HDT Physics Extension plugin created by HidrogensaysHDT. And, since I'm quite happy with the results I'm thinking about doing a release.

"Oficial" thread: go to LL and search for "Just some random... test"

Body used: UNP (maybe I'll do a Caliente's body version on the next days)

But, a cuple videos says more than just words.

FIRST TEST

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06BfpFbRcgQ&feature=youtu.be

Total Rigid Bodies Used: 20

Collision: 2

Rigid bodies used for rig: 14

Constraints: Radgolls

SECOND TEST

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02IqLcbdgm0

Total Rigid Bodies Used: 22

Collision: 2

Rigid bodies used for rig: 17

Constraints: Radgolls
THIRD TEST
I will release it in a couple days with the beta version for testing.

Total Rigid Bodies Used: 52 (maybe 56)

Collision: 6 (maybe I'll set it to 10)

Rigid bodies used for rig: 28 (could be 36 but the 4 vertexes per bone limit is killing me)

Constraints: Radgolls - Springs
