Empty Competitive Campaign?

Post » Sat Aug 15, 2009 9:51 am

I played 4 hard levels of Versus Campaign and I was the only player. This was on the PS3. Is everyone on Freeplay or do you think other people were not on? Has anyone else experienced this.

Did you choose the "solo" option when you started? If so that's why there's no one with you. Of course if you're using a public, drop-in, drop-out game type then I guess no one is the right rank or connection to join up with you.

Same, its either no ones playing or the match making gone. I wish they would have just put us on servers and given us a server browser. So much more efficient and doesnt rely on a crappy match making system that puts me in empty games with bots which are [censored]. Really shows the faults of this game when you are playing with bots. If you are against humans though its brilliant.

you can still go onto the server browser to find campaign, just know that the other players may not be your level, but you won't know that anyway. That's what i did seeing as though the MM system seems a bit sketchy.

Where is the Minimum Setting?

By the way, I am still loving this game and I tried the challenges for 3 people. WOW... that was crazy. I may be able to do the parkour challenge for 3 people though. I almost made it last time.

You really think rushing out more content to impatient fans is a good idea after the trainwreck of problems they've had this week?

Ehh... why not it would totes svck to wait an entire week or two extra.

Am I the only one who got a story shipped in my copy? (Actually, I got 2 stories if someone wants one.) :read:

I had this happen in two seperate maps. I chose to join a multiplayer server dedicated to campaign.

For what its worth, I am on PS3 and have played campaign versus matches (both sides) with a decent amount of human players both Sunday and Monday night. Was a little odd though as last night I noticed about 6 humans on one side and 4 humans on the other team - I thought it was capped at 8 humans max. Not a problem as there was no lag, but still contrary to what I had expected.

The fact that you said 'hard' has me curious though as I thought you couldn't select difficulty when playing online campaign.

Yes, we do. We are lucky to get 2 0r 3 humans on the PS3 in a team of 8 :(
