» Thu Nov 26, 2015 10:58 am I went to the Nexus and stumbled into an article regarding enabling FO4 to use mods. The idea was to change two lines in the FO4 prefs and ini (one line in each) and was folowed up with a suggestion to make both docs read only. So I did.
The problem is, that then I discovered that I was forced to play the game windowed and borderless, which I don't want to do since it would be a huge waste of a big screen. I couldn't untic the boxes controlling those two options. So, I went back and removed the read only option from them.
Apparently nothing happened with FO4 changing anything back, but it leads me to another question. I really want to have the game not windowed and borderless, and I'm sick of having to open options twice each time I start the game so I can untic those boxes. In the Prefs doc I found an option to change borderless from 0 to 1, but the more important item is changing to get rid of windowed. I couldn't find any such option in either prefs or the ini.
Does anybody know what options should be changed to set that behavior, so I can them make them read only to keep them from being changed back?
