Enabling player head tracking

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:58 pm

I'm looking and looking and I still cannot figure out how to cure the player character of this dreadful neck paralysis! ^^

Has anyone else looked into it yet? I know that the player character isn't the only one with this problem because the summonable dremora lord also has disabled head tracking so I believe that this condition isn't player exclusive but... I still don't actually know what controls it!

Oh thank you! This looks like it may be it! I haven't played with the scripts yet but I'll test it later and see if this works (unless someone is faster, I wouldn't mind ^^)

By da wai, maybe it can be run standalone via the console? I'll have to check it.

Nuh-uh console not working. I guess I'll have to script it after all...

If you make this into a mod, iMissLeeches, I hope you upload it. I would love to use it and I'm certain others would too!

Since that thing only ever has a "tracking on" and "tracking off" value, as a guess I'd say it'll cause the person to head track the player. So, if you activate it on the player itself, what will his head track? :)

Don't worry and have some patience, a lot of the CK is still unknown to almost all of us. We'll figure it all out eventually.

I knoooow ,_. I was just so hopeful that it would work! And logically it should have but didn't and I don't even know why! To be honest I'm not even sure if my script even fired right because no matter what I try nothing happens. I'd love if the game at least started reacting to my experiments somehow: crash, explode my computer or something totally crazy like actually work! Anything just to show that it cares! But no it keeps giving me the silent treatment instead ._.

I would love to see the PC's head move as well. I think I got the summoned dremora to move his head.Well at least to look at my character menacingly. Go under race>Double Click DremoraRace>General Data. Look at the Movement options and click Uses Head Track Anims.

I don't see how to add them to the player. As far as I can tell that's added through Race.
