ENB and Realvision Question

Post » Sat Jan 18, 2014 5:14 am

I'm pretty new to modding but having been researching as much as I can. I've installed 2K textures, Skyrim HD, and Flora Overhaul so far. I'd like to now try the Enb from enbdev.com. I know how to download from the site and what to adjust in the ini file. My question is regarding the nexus file I must download.

I would like to download Realvision but am unsure which file I'm supposed to download. There are two main files and multiple optional files with abbreviations that I don't understand. Am I only supposed to go with one of the main files? Also, with my specs, do you think I will be able to run smoothly?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

I recently switched to RealVision and in my opinion it is one of the best ENB preset 'package' on the Nexus. There are 3 preset options (all in the main file), each with a full (for high-end PC) and performance version. The presets are done with the idea that you will use Climate of Tamriel (COT) and one of the the major lighting mods installed: Realistic Lighting Overhaul (RLO) or Enhanced Lighting and FX (ELFX). The description page is quite detailed in what you need to install in order to achieve the apperance you desired. The main file, when launch from NMM, will have a menu that will allow you to select which options to install. It's all there in the description page.

Your PC can handle the full version. I went with the COT+RLO full version and love how my game looks. My PC spec is 4.3GHZ i5-3570K, Nvidia GTX680 4GB, 8GB RAM, SSD.
