Was hoping I would get some help please.
I'm using CTD and Memory Patch ENBoost (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649/?). Also note, I've used other ENB's too and it happens to them as well. I'm just currently using this ENB during my play-through.
I have frame limiter on.
When I enable the ENB it works fine, keeps my memory low and fps high. I continue to quit the game after a bit, play again, works great,
but after say maybe the 8th time or so, give or take 3 times, upon loading up the game with enb, i get stuttering only indoors, particularly near walls or
doors. No amount of restarting the game helps, Mind you I keep my computer on 24/7. The only solution I've found was after rebooting my pc,
the stuttering was gone and enb would continue to function fine again.
Now it doesn't just start stuttering while I'm actually playing in game, this is only after loading a game several times that it happens.
I have waiting around doing nothing for one time an hour. (went to watch tv) when I came back, the stuttering was still there.
I would like to not have to keep rebooting my pc all the time to have that go away. Is there something I may be missing that would help?
To reiterate:
- Computer is usually on 24/7
- I do have a frame limiter on
- enb is stable the first few times of reloading and while during those stable times, it has never stuttered in the middle of a gaming session.
- enb stutters upon several restarts and only stutters while indoors.(I don't mean reloading while indoors, but the stuttering only happens indoors. In the
outside world it's smooth.)
- turning enb off, stops the stuttering immediately
- turning enb on after it's already started stuttering does NOT fix it.
- Even waiting around for the game to properly load doesn't end the stuttering once it starts.
- Throughout this, the frame rate is still quite high, in the 40's plus. It doesn't drop, even during the stuttering.
- Only a reboot of my PC fixes the problem temporarily for another several restarts of the game at which point it stutters again (Usually that's several hours into it).
Anyone else have this issue as well? If so, was there a solution short of rebooting every time? Something a bit more permanent perhaps?
Edit: I want to amend to this that the amount of time playing doesn't seem to matter. I've played the game for hours and for several days with maybe 3 or 4 reloads and it would load up fine, no stuttering. But after say a few more reloads it just starts stuttering again.
Thanks
