Not sure why, but I've been finding scores of enchanted items on this character. He's level 9 now, but I was finding them around levels 4-8 the most. And it's not just iron or steel, it's Dwarven and Orcish too.

One dungeon has at least 2 or more enchanted items, with most containing about 4. Why is this? I am playing on Adept, does that increase the chances?

I don't think so, Your character might just have a rabbits foot in his pants.

Yeah, just luck. As someone who starts lots and lots of characters, I can say that there is a huge variation in starting loot between characters but it usually evens out by level 20 or so as you might expect.

I had cleared about 6 dungeons and ended up with about 10+ enchantments, plus I had duplicates of some of those enchantments.

Yeah, enchanted items are REALLY random..... I think I have had TWO playthrus (out of dozens...) where I actually found the 'water breathing' enchantment......
