I'm not sure if this has been talked about extensively at all (It hasn't since I've been here), but my thoughts recently wandered to enchanted weapons. I'm curious with the new magic system if we will get more visual effects along with enchanted weapons like electrocuting an enemy after striking them or having a sword that looks like it's permanently covered in frost.

What are your predictions about what the visuals for enchanted weapons might be like?

So long as they don't glow stupid colors, I don't care.

I really hope to see nice effects. In fact, if you look at the demo, (check the frost dragon fight you can see it here at 14:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzP3jkBKCVA&feature=related) you will eb able to see that the axe gets a frost effect after the character is hit by the dragon ice breath

So I guess we'll have better enchant animations

I would like some system like in Two Worlds II. It glows orange for Fire damage, White for Frost damage, and Blue for Lightning damage.

i dont want a glow i rather have like on a lightning item have electricity going thru it like a sparks around the blade for
for frost like visible ice and cold mist
for fire it would be could to have a trail of fire as u swing but nothing to fancy because then it looks over the top
like a sword on fire is too much i dont like that

If I have a sword with electricity surging through it then I would never use a weapon with a different enchantment. That just seems too awesome not to have for me.

Same here. I'm hoping to have a blazing sword if enchanted with fire, etc

I keep picturing a model character after that monk with the flaming sword in Game of Thrones. I've only read the first book and am a third through the second right now so I only have a picture in my head.
