Enchanting Unique items : V

I know its possiable to make Unique armour legendary using smithing but is it possiable to use the Extra Effect perk in enchanting to add another effect to unique armour so you have two effects
on lets just say the Nightingale armour.

Has anyone tried this yet

Take that as a know then.

No you cannot. The extra effect can only be done at the same time as the primary effect. This is explained in the in game book twin souls
