Enclave can we join them in fallout 4?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 5:45 pm

Enclave was pretty much ''KILL ALL MUTIES" which includes everyone living in the wasteland by attempting to release FEV into the atmosphere. Sure some factions aren't exactly the nicest but at least the brotherhood and NCR don't actively try to kill everyone that isn't apart of their organization, unlike the Enclave.

while the main governing body of the enclave may have been purist (pure-human) dictators bent on eradicating anything that has been exposed to the new world, including any humans that live above ground, some members of the enclave seem ok. Arcade Gannon and his troops are in all regards just soldiers who followed there orders, while some do share the goals of the enclave, some cleary learned over time that it was wrong. So not all enclave remnants need be homicidal meglomaniacs. Even star wars has the empire, which is basicly a play on nazizsm, that later seems to reform to a less evil organization (according to some books that is) Same could happen with remnant enclave.

But still i doubt they will play a major role, as i think they would be too buisy getting their asses kicked by the lone wanderer at the time this game plays out :D

At this point in the Fallout Lore I believe the Enclave are no longer a faction in the Wasteland but you never know.

the enclave is destroyed, at most there would be a few remnants here and there, they are also very unlikely to let an outsider join. i have absolutely no doubt about modding vaults being a thing that can happen. slavers will probably exist, even if its just generic enemies. i hope members of factions you're in will be attracted to your town, that'd be interesting

I hope the enclave barely exists in fallout 4. They should be a fringe faction, really remnants at most like in New Vegas. They've been the main bad guy faction in two games. On both coasts, they've had all their main bases destroyed and their leaders killed. Also on both coasts, after suffering heavy casualties and defeats, they were hunted down afterwards. I just don't understand how people could expect them (or want them for that matter) to make a third miraculous comeback.

I heard the remaining Enclave headed north and formed a commune spreading peace and love throughout the wasteland.

True story.

I'll keep posting it because it makes some sense:

Go with the idea of the Crimson Exiles. After the events of Fallout 3, the Enclave Remnants and the remains of the Brotherhood Outcasts have decided to join forces under one banner. This also leads to some interesting questlines as well. Do you join their faction and settle their differences? Do you make one of their doctrines more dominant? Or do you drive them apart in an effort to take them off the playing field for control of the Institute?

If they do make appearance, I hope they retain the Outcasts' power armor paint job...

The Enclave is dead. I ate every single one of them and then spent the next eighteen months in the Rivet City gym working off the excess weight.

Are you absolutely positive you want to join them? I can make it happen if you do.

I wouldn't mind seeing the enclave in Fo4. That kind of "dominance by violence for their own power" group has been around since before bipedals dropped from trees. So why not one of the many mini (or major) factions. If not in FO4, they would be the perfect bad guy faction in a FO MMO. Yeah, I said it!

Cow500: 'I just don't understand how people could expect them (or want them for that matter) to make a third miraculous comeback. '

Because without the continuation of the US government (even in the form of the Enclave) it means China, to all intents and purposes won the war. I'm English but even I wouldn't want that to be the case in the great fallout world. There has to be some kind of hope as you wander the wastes. That's how I feel anyway.

I find it hard to see this. Sure they're both outcast in their own way, but that is as far as their similarities go. The Brotherhood Outcast are still the Brotherhood, and if anything, Lyon's Pride are the actual outcast.

So in all reality this is just suggesting the Brotherhood would take in Enclave remnants. Which I don't see working out at all. No one likes the Enclave, and they're hunted to the ends of the wasteland by everyone.

As for the Enclave making an appearance for the THIRD TIME, I'm strongly against it. They were absolutely decimated on the oil rig, and they were decimated AGAIN in the Capital Wasteland. They're as good as dead at this point and they should stay that way as it would make no sense otherwise. And quite frankly, it would be more damn lazy writing on Bethesda's part to keep reusing the same antagonist and faction.

The Enclave faction are dead. What few that are left are remnants that have moved on or are in hiding.

I would definitely like to see an Enclave group in Fallout 4. They haven't been eliminated completely. As we learned in New Vegas, there is still an Enclave presence in Chicago. I don't expect a large presence, but they could definitely still be around. They would be like theCapitol Wasteland Brotherhood Outcasts, a splinter group of a splinter group. Maybe that's why we're seeing the BoS in Boston; they're continuing their war with Enclave forces. As a Pre-War survivor, the Enclave might actually be willing to welcome you into their ranks, especially since their numbers are so low. That would be a good reason for you be able to side with either faction. From what we've seen in gameplay footage and concept art, it appears that we can both fight against the BoS and alongside them.

If the Enclave are in, I'm sure we'll be able to talk to him.

This reminds me of a Star Wars discussion. If the Empire can manage to survive the disastrous defeat at battle of Endor and be in the new stars wars trailer. Then there is a chance the Enclave have another division or remnants unscathed.

As someone already mentioned, I don't think people realize the distance between Chicago and Boston, and how unlikely it is for Enclave from Chicago to have a presence in Boston.

Even more so, it's likely a majority of the Enclave that fled the oil rig went to answer Eden's call. I suspect whoever is in Chicago after the oil rig's destruction weren't large in numbers. Meaning, they're insignificant.

The Enclave presence in Chicago was described as "outposts" in Lonesome Road.

Its nothing like what we saw on the oil rig, or Raven Rock/Adams.

There is no evidence so far of the enclave, beyond a single sighting of an eyebot.....which isn't much to hang your hopes on.

However I believe there will be some power armour wearing bad guys in Fallout 4 simply because of the apparent wealth of power armour types you can apparently loot shown in the E3 footage and if as expected the T-45d wearing BOS are the CWBOS then we need a bad guy for us to loot all that armour from....we do see an Elite Raider in PA but that is unlikely to give you that much power armour.

  • They paid for them; they will use them.
  • Most of their audience, who knows little or nothing
about the series, know the Enclave; they will use them.
  • The most damning: They put the Fallout 2 Enclave helmet in the demo...
That helmet was designed after the war, on the West Coast oil rig.
(That is unless it's just more of the rule of cool ~and who cares about continuity. :sadvaultboy: )

Star Wars Nerdgasm........the only reason that the battle of Endor is disastrous is the death of Vader and the Emperor, military strength wise only a fraction of the Imperial Fleet is lost, the Stormtrooper Corps and Imperial Army are also largely intact. If they didn't change the lore that is.

Anyway, they can of course come up with reasons why the Enclave can reappear..........clones, cyrogenically frozen pure pre-war members, another secret base.

Yes the xenophobic nazi-esque faction that wants to kill all wastelanders would totally join up with the traditionalist isolationist xenophobic tech obsessed faction because....logic? The beliefs of the two groups would mean neither would agree to co-existence. The enclave want to destroy all wastelanders and the outcasts want all the technology they can get.

That outpost probably moved to D.C. along with the rest of the enclave forces after Navarro. Thinking it's best to survive together instead of being split up.

Like I wrote I expect there to be an bad guy power armour faction, maybe that will be the Enclave or perhaps MWBOS.

No Enclave, I would be ok with a Remmants thing like Fallout New Vegas but not full blown like Fallout 3. Midwest BOS I hope would be in as a Grey option.

The helmet could've been from a lone survivor or from Lyon's brotherhood who would've most likely collected all the enclave armor they could get. I really don't consider just a helmet to be proof of the enclave being in the game.

Kinda like how New Vegas had enclave armor yet the enclave was just a few old timers who were lucky enough to escape.

Nope.

The message we hear in Lonesome Road was from a guy at Adams sending ED-E to the outposts in Chicago. They were still separate even after the main force had left Navarro and gone to D.C.

Not in Fo3, that was only Eden.

Autumn and all the human forces of the Enclave just wanted to use the purifier to start a new Enclave led nation. Autumn wanted nothing to do with killing everyone.
