Fair enough.
I would imagine, if anything, the Enclave would become more bitter, spiteful, and driven inward rather than suddenly repentant.

The Enclave on the East Coast, should be like the Enclave on the West Coast, but even more so. How they were portrayed in New Vegas, as just old people given up on an old idea, who knew it was over, is how they should be portrayed, if at all. No more Enclave popping up here and there. Recycling is not always the best policy.
Fixed.
The Enclave are platitudinous, they offer nothing new, and if they did they would no longer be the Enclave. They're a dead horse that has been beaten to death and instead of a dignified burial they have been taxidermied and are often wheeled out for frivolous amusemant.
I think IF we see then Enclave in FO4, its gonna be akin to the .. version we got in F: NV. You have about 5-6 ex members scattered through that region and you only needed them to break into a cache of equipment you might find in the wastes IF you got that quest. It was a small little bunker for a Rainy day.
Personally I think we might find a news article by President Eden or something similar and that will be that ( and you might get some dialogue talking about how they were destroyed not far away) by random wastelanders. The Enclaves grand plan failed. There was no plan B.
Its similar to the presence I think the Brotherhood might have in FO4. There but not really 'out there'. The Brotherhood like the vaults are now synonymous with Fallout, so Im sure we will see the Brotherhood and yes they will probably whinge at us for having unauthorised power armor.
I suspect they will have remnants, though they may not be in any working order besides a bunch of mad men clinging to dead dreams.
Personally I want a militaristic and violent BoS like what was forming at the end of Tactics and what was going to be in Fallout Extreme.
Implying that 1. The Great War was a conflict that could be "won" and 2. That the PRC survived in any form at all. The only source that says anything about China's survival was the cancelled Fallout Extreme (which of course is of dubious canon) and even in that the PRC was confirmed to be dead and buried. The Chinese forces that were to be fought in Fallout Extreme were ROC remnants from Taiwan that decided to revive the old Chinese Empire.
It would be nice to finally have the choice to join them, although we havnt seen anything that indicates we have choices in faction like in FONV. Correct me if im wrong
You know, I want the Enclave to be there, but I'm not sure in what capacity. Not as the main antagonists, of course, and I doubt that will happen anyway.
But if they've been reduced to hiding out in isolated outposts and bunkers, I'd be okay with that. Makes me wonder what their goals could even be in that scenario, though. But unless we find a new source of Advanced Power Armor and Tesla Armor, I'd rather they not go away completely.
most i think we will see is remnants bunker one those places wander into at lvl 8 only to find 20 real enclave troopers hideing out.
I'm fine with a few scattered remnants.
Player: "So...you were Enclave."
NPC: "Yyyup."
Player: "How'd that work out?"
NPC: "Got our ass kicked by a lone dirtbag. How'd you think it worked out?"
Player: "Not very well."
NPC: "Not very f---ing well."
I'd like to see the Enclave, but NOT as the main antagonists. I'm tired of those guys svcking up all the plot.
I think dog meat should be able to die to get a different companion like the young robotised Deathclaw if you were able to join the enclave but if you join brotherhood of steel, dog meat gets robotised.
plus I do think the fallout 3 enclave armour is rubbish compared to New Vegas enclave armour too but the only games I have played is fallout 3 including all add ons and the same with fallout new vegas.
I'd rather see brand new factions. Especially as we get their PA anyway.
I would not be surprised if you could blow up the BOS zeppelin with all hands perishing, and later ask [and be accepted] to join the Brotherhood.
I would not might seeing the Enclave in Fallout 4, but in a very different context than we saw them in previous games. They have been trampled repeatedly, losing all of their bases, so it would make no sense at all to have them as a powerful faction, but I would like the idea of being able to meet and befriend (or kill) a group of holdouts. It would be interesting to find a group of Enclave soldiers who survived the Enclave's defeat and are adrift, unsure how to move forward with the lack of command structure, but potentially with access to very high-end equipment.
Would the Enclave still be the Enclave if they abandoned their entire reason for being?
The hatred and contempt for what humanity has been reduced to is at the core of their existence, they see themselves as the last true Americans and every one else as sub human mutants who need to be eradicated so civilisation can once again *quick hold up the flag behind me* florish in this great land of ours, my fellow americans one day, one day, all that has been lost can be restored, all that has been destroyed can be rebuilt and our great nation can raise again. *que Enclave patriotic music*
To be fair, there IS open space for new recruits at that point. : >
Here is a question for you, did the Enclave appear in a trailers or any other released footage prior to F3's release?
I'm wondering because I dont remember them being mentioned or shown in any of the many F3 trailers.
