Enclave can we join them in fallout 4?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 7:14 pm

instead of brotherhood of steel.

And can we have the team we enlist with guard our caravan's and cities or the locals change in appearance to fit them?

can we hire robots too?

also are you bringing back slavers in it?

can we mod a vault too in the game?

Those are questions no one here has the answers to. Unfortunately.

I hope the Enclave has no real presence.

No more enclave, most of the fandom is tired of them and they're just an overused bad guy idea. No more wasteland nazis.

The enclave were fantastic antagonists in Fallout 2. Unfortunately Bethesda botched them up so much in Fallout 3 that I hope they do not return. Also having the enclave present for the 3rd time would be... as Cider stated; tiresome.

Consider enclave has been decimated twice I doubt they have any presence left.

I liked the Enclave in F3 and in general; their nice black armour and Malcom McDowell's voice as their president. They may appear villainous but I think they actually just reject the developments in the wasteland since the bombs fell, and - for good or ill - seek to restore the way things used to be. I find their premise intriguing and quite sympathetic and F4 would suffer for their absence.

Maybe a specific set of player actions could trigger a large Enclave presence in the main game, just so we can have the choice.

With no confirmation whether the Enclave are going to be in the game, I honestly can't weigh in. But as a faction, past encounters in Fallout 2 and in Fallout 3 have me of the stance of not buying what they are selling and are nothing but a source of target practice, and lasers and black power armor to scavenge off their corpses (or in this games case, scavenging Power Armor bits to use on my personal Power Armor).

Enclave is dead, let's leave it like that.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda rehashes them again though, they'll probably bring back Frank Horrigan as Robo-zombie-ninja-cyborg leading an army of undead enclave soldiers seeking vengeance.

In an Easter Egg thread posted two weeks ago, I had the idea that for one, you enter a flat, and you find a bunch of dead Enclave officers, and in corner of the flat was this altar with a toaster on it with the word "EDEN" scrawled on it, surrounded by offerings of Apple Pie, baseballs, baseball bats, and little miniature American flags.

Don't forget to put white picket fence around the flat!

When people say the Enclave are Wasteland Nazis we aren't making things up, these are people who would rather see everything they didn't like eradicated. They've tried to commit genocide twice and failed, they aren't just villainous they are straight up a Nazi-esque faction that deems everything impure besides themselves.

Yeahhhh, the Enclave would eradicate anyone they deemed a "mutant"...which is sadly, anyone actively LIVING in the Wasteland...

Not sure if they will be making a come back this time around, but i noticed in the customize bit they showed off with the power armor has the enclave Mk 2 in it...so maybe a quest involving a old enclave solider or we find it on a dead guy, or perhaps we can get it from the BoS or the institute.

Were they even confirmed to be apart of the game? I haven't seen them in the gameplay or anything.

lore wise the enclave have always been a antaganist rather then a faction you could join. I also have my doubt the enclave still exists in FO4, as it seems the game takes place close to the events that span its demise. At best you might see some ex-enclave members trying to rebuild what they lost. There also meems to be a difference to east vs west coast enclave, both have been seriously weakened by now though.

I hope we get to meet some remnants or a small base, but nothing big or powerful like 2 or 3.

Hope then are more than targets too, and we can at least interact with them.

The only place the Enclave still has a presence, after the events of Fallout 3, and New Vegas, is Chicago.

According to lore anyway.

I don't live in the US, but I'm pretty sure Boston is too far away from Chicago :P

There is only the helm shown in the PA selection. Some YTber announced their return based only on that. Of which, only proves that the armor is in the game.

I need to study the lore a bit more, perhaps, but isn't nearly everyone brutal in the Fallout world? That world would realistically have a strong conservative force trying to uphold tradition. I'd be more worried if there was no Enclave. Maybe they can tone down their act a bit in following chapters and accept some of the post- nuclear changes.

It would be interesting to join Enclave, especially when the PC is a former USA soldier. We could even join the Legion, the most vile faction in the Wasteland that makes Immortan Joe look like a saint.
