How about it, You can do things that are completely amoral and at the end you we finally get that sense of being /kinda/ evil.

That is a mechanic that should be in the base game of both FO and TES.

The Enclave are dead and should remain so imo.

This. Being an bloodthirsty villain that rules with a bloody iron fist should be an option. You don't need the Enclave to kill everyone and start a reign of terror.

Indeed, the Enclave is dead and really should stay that way. Even their presence in Fallout 3 was a very unnecessary retcon. They should have stayed dead after Fallout 2.

I'm not saying like a mass army of Enclave. Hey, You build the Minutemen from you and "Another settlement needs help." Plus the male protaganist is Pre-war Military. Just a small group of 4 members or something.

I would love to hear in character rationale for joining the enclave and engaging in genocide. I just wanna see them post it.

A few members driving the Enclave's genocidal views? Riiight... Clearly you don't see the big picture. The Enclave was very bad, sure, but not everyone was bad willingly. In fact a lot of them were decent people stuck between a rock and hard place.

Don't believe me? Play New Vegas and learn a more humane side of the Enclave.

Maybe they could give you a thing of heavily modified x-01 or some new power armor to entice you to come in. :3

I know Enclave isn't a murder hungry faction, They are have good intentions with a little to much will to get the ends to meet. Really I think the institute was just a work around to be a Enclavish type. Actually.. When I think about it the Institute kind of is the Enclave with a name change...

I could do without a 'resurrecting the Enclave from the dead' DLC.

You can create your own heavily modded X-01 armor.

Exactly. I don't need power armor that's even more powerful than fully modded X-01. I'm pretty content with that.

Two completely different ideologies, and the Minutemen would attract new members unlike the Enclave.

By the time the Enclave shows up in FO4, their ideology could be quite changed already.

The Enclave is well explored: there's just not that much left to say about them. One expection: their endgame. The Enclave's last leap was to leave the planet entirely, set up a colony on another planet. I'd be interested in seeing a line of quests where the last functional elements of the Enclave (Chicago? IIRC, New Vegas DLC implied the Enclave was still in power in the Midwest after the losses to the NCR and Brotherhood of Steel in California and DC) are in the last phase of their plan to leave the Earth.

Oh god no. I'd prefer not having a "destroy everything" option simply to appease a small group of people who like options that make little to no sense that no one would do.

No their plan was to exterminate all life on earth save for animals and plant life through an FEV virus, the whole "leave the earth" crap was from Van Buren which all it's lore that wasn't recycled into New Vegas is not official due to Van Buren being a dead project, also said idea to leave earth was abandoned by the enclave in the form of a more genocidal plan.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Enclave

Enclave is dead, gone, doomed. Every single major base was destroyed and the outpost in chicago is just that, an outpost. Not a base, not a facility, not a mega ultra super complex holding thousands of people. Seriously, just end them they're dead.

The Enclave suddenly coming back would be as hamfisted as the movie Iron Sky, a movie made to make fun of the idea of space Nazis coming back to earth.

Slaughter an entire vault because said vault opened doors once and they needed the vault dwellers for experiments that killed them. Check.
Whole plan to create an FEV strain that would be put into the atmosphere killing all life on earth that the enclave deemed mutants. Check.
Trying again to release another FEV strain into water to kill people. Check

Murder happy quite fits literal wasteland nazis.

You don't need the Enclave in Fallout 4 we have the Brotherhood.

I just performed a rather uncomfortable mission for them as I imagined a good soldier would perform and returned to talk with Imgram and Kells and all of a sudden it's like the Baptism scene in Godfather, people are going to get whacked left and right.

BoS is not like the Enclave. Enclave wanted to kill everything they saw impure, BoS want to kill everything that's causing problems for the wasteland like genocidal super mutants, ferals and raiders. It's a real poor comparison when the Enclave kills innocents while the BoS doesn't.

I could see an Enclave run by Arcade Gannon, Whitley, or the Enclave Remnants. Basically a new incarnation of the faction that acts as a successor to the old, (much like the NCR with America), with the goal of making America great again.

Have them control a rebuilt City State in Chicago or something, and let it be run by sane people this time around.

Except Arcade would most likely go back to the Followers, the remnants are all to old to build a faction on their own and Whitley most likely died or was captured after Adams Air Field was captured by the BoS. Enclave outposts are a complete mystery if they're even still around as they could've been destroyed by any local forces, Mid-western or simple fell apart after Navarro and Adams Airfield were taken over. The outposts could at most be nothing but small scientist areas or small vertibird refueling stations like the remnants had. It's a real big unknown to use them as proof of anything or to even state they could become a city state.

Don't they?

I'm still in my first playthrough siding with the Beotherhood. I planned on doing an "evil" female character next and side with the institute, but I'm not so sure if I'm not doing my bad play through now. I've killed a few innocents in the name of the brotherhood.
