He then looked at the alien blaster. "whats this?" He pushed a small plate on the blaster and it opened up a small port to insert a cell. "Kain push this that how you load it." Jonathan thought about a scientist he knew at the base and if could reverse engineer it they could add an alien blaster type weapon to the Red Coffin.

Kain looked away from the blaster and into his scope. The behemoth was pretty far away and even with the scope it was going to be heroic shot. He got the mini nuke into his sights, followed it, and then fired. The bullet curved and missed it's target. I forgot it would curve, gotta think. Taking the nuke back in his sights he fired, but the gun jammed. Kain yelled into his mike. "William, watch out!" The beast hurled a mini nuke towards the Red Coffin as Kain watched in absolute horror.

"Alright all missiles armed lets go!" William got in the cockpit and started to make a run on the behemoth. "Take out the mini nukes now I'm ready!" Then to his horror he saw the shot miss and the mini nuke head right for him. There was only one choice he fired a missile right at the fat man hoping to detonate it in midair.

There was a huge explosion in front of the Red Coffin and Kain screamed"William!". Out of the smoke flew the Red Coffin and Kain whispered "Thank God." Tearing his eyes away from the miraculous sight, Kain unjammed his gun and looked back into the scope for another shot."Alright you [censored], I got you this time." Kain pulled the trigger, the sniper rifle jumped in his hands, the bullet flew true and connected with the nuke. There was a beautiful chain re-action explosion that shook the building. There was not much left of the Behemoth, pity because Command would have loved to get their hands on that brain scrambler. Kain radioed William "Circle around and shoot anything that moves, please?"

"Roger that!" William circled around and yelled at his Copilot, Ryan "Get on the minigun and take them out!" William leveled the vertibird and let Ryan finish off the survivors. Then he spun around a sprayed the ground with several rockets to make sure that they were dead. "All clear guys lest get back to base!" William landed and loaded all the blasters in. "So aliens do exist huh."

"I don't know there's no way these raiders found this on their own and i'm sure as hell that the BoS doesn't have this so it has to be our guys... Unless they somehow have a deal with the aliens though that sounds unlikely." Jonathan also wondered if someone in their outpost was smuggling alien weapons. "I wonder if our next mission has anything to do with this."

Jonathan was helping bring in the boxes when he walked up to William and opened up his satchel. "Hey i'm taking some of these Blasters want one?"

William flew back to base and rejected the offer of the blaster because he already had 2 and arrived safely at HQ. "Ah man I'm gonna get some R&R, the next mission probably gonna come tomorrow." William went to the officer's lounge and got a drink and just relaxed and played some cards with Ryan until he went to sleep. Before he did so he went and refitted the Red coffin with additional armor and ammo as well as upgrading the engine so it could run on a fusion battery. William had the Gut feeling that the big trip back to California was going to come soon.

He stepped in and found some soldiers searching. "Guys hide any alien blasters you have there are some soldiers in here searching the med-bay for alien blasters." Jonathan stuck his satchel in a hidden compartment next to the door and stepped in.

Kain got off and went straight into his room. I wonder what's wrong with the Commander, he didn't say a word after talking to base and when he got off he went straight to Command Central.That thought went out of his mind when he got Jonathan's call."Huh, don't even trust their own allies, maybe my conspiracy theory is right after all?"When he got into his room there where no soldiers."Probably going to check mine next."In his room was a picture of his family hanging on the wall right in front of him. To his right was his bed and to his left was a bookshelf,filled with books, that extended all the way across the wall.


Going to the wall opposite his bed, he bent down and picked a tile off the floor, revealing a floor safe. He stashed the weapons and ammo in there. He actually had another safe in the wall, behind the picture, but that was just a decoy, some might call him paranoid. After he was done, he went to the mess hall and got something to eat, before heading off to bed.

The Red Coffin now has a revamped weapons system I ordered from chief engineer back at Outpost Omega. Too bad Stiggs at adams airforce did a good job on that ship. Eh, too bad we lost Eden and Colonel.

Jonathan went to his sleeping quarters to pick up his new tech. "Where the hell do these guys get this tech? I just got this armor yesterday and now we have more advanced tech." When he got to his bed he pulled out a box under it and took out the laser rifle." Hmmm it has different settings to use different intensities. I can cut a body open for surgery or I can shoot through metal walls." He then took out the servo arm and put it in the new power armor he had.

Jonathan removed his armor and put on the new one, instantly a needle shot through his spine and connected him to the suit computer.

Well I can, like your old armor scan the patient but I can also take control of the armor in case your ever incapacitated. I can also manipulate that servo arm and I can hack any computers you need me to. I can do other things as well.

"I'm a medic why would I need to hack?"

Jonathan stepped in the mess hall.

Jonathan: "I'm looking for Sheena is she in here."

Sheena looked about Jonathan's age her hair was brown, long and in a slightly messy bun. She had blue eyes and a slim figure. Her skin was pale and fragile like it had never been in the sun.

Jonathan: "Don't worry i'm not here to hurt you or anything. I'm the one that has your A.I."

Sheena: "Oh that. Here walk with me to the med-bay."

Jonathan: "Okay... So what, I mean how did they do this?"

Sheena: "Do what?"

Jonathan: "The A.I. thing."

Sheena: "Oh that. They got together all the instructors and hooked them up to a machine. The funny thing is I just became an instructor four days ago."

Jonathan: "So wait how new is this armor?"

Sheena: "Heh, three days old."

Jonathan: "Wait they just made this?"

Sheena: "Yes."

Jonathan and Sheena were on the door way to the med-bay.

Jonathan: "Hey let me buy you a drink later."

Kain entered the lab. The lab always freaked him out,with all those floating specimens looking like they could just jump right out at you. Repressing a shudder, Kain made his way towards the Weapons Department. The door opened and he step through and said "This is First Lieutenant Kain Plunkett. I'm looking for a Mr. David Newlon." The Weapons Department was filled with rows of computers and on the sides were work benches and lockers filled with all kinds of technology. A man spoke from the back row of the computers, the closet to Kain. "How may I help you, Lieutenant?" The man looked roughly six feet tall, was very skinny with dark hair that was tied into a pony tail. He had pale skin and piercing green eyes hidden behind glasses, like the computer, he had a very deep voice.

"I hear your the man who programed my armor."

"I'm, Sir."

" It called me a dumb[censored]."

"Well ummm.... you see...I kinda of uhh....." Probably deserved it, stupid Enclave soldiers think there so much better than the scientists.

"Could you please just make sure it doesn't happen again."

"Yes, Sir." As long as he doesn't insult me i don't think we should have a problem.

"Could you tell me a little more about my armor?"

"Well Sir, this new armor is designed for snipers and the like. It is just as light as Recon armor, but twice as durable. The helmet is like the Recon's, but it has a transparent face mask to protect your face and allow better vision for sniping. It also has a deploy able stealth field, its not as good as a stealth boy, but it last a long time. Finally the computer can offer you help on the battlefield."

"Sweet! Oh, and Dave, we may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but seeing as you or the computer version of you is gonna be helping me, lets try to get to know each other." Kain offered his hand and Dave shook it. He's not so bad, for a soldier that it is.

Kain then head back to his room. Hmm, I'm kinda bored maybe I'll go and see if Doc wants to play cards.
