well i think the latest games are easier than the old ones because they aren't turn based and completely stat based, so in FO3 & NV you can use cover and spam stimpaks and stuff.
Also, i know it's basically canon but i dislike the 1 guy defeated them all argument because it is the player character...
Anyways, idk how the Enclave would have done against the NCR, BoS and other groups without the player's interference, but i bet they would have been defeated eventually due to them not getting new members like the NCR, the NCR could just use Zap Brannigan's war tactics to beat them, lol.
I don't think Caesar's Legion is as big as the NCR but they are definitely bigger than the Enclave, so the same tactic applies, though idk what the Legion would do against carpet-bombing Vertibirds, as it seemed they were an issue in FO3 until the BoS created the Tesla Cannons. Same goes for the NCR i suppose.
Without the army, I'm sure House would be decimated by the Enclave (I'm talking before they were destroyed for all of these, btw), because of their tech and armor. With the army it would be much more difficult, but idk where they are all stationed, lol. I think a bunch of Vertibird bomb drops would do a great deal of damage to the securitrons as long as they could avoid the missiles.
Well that's my take on how an undestroyed Enclave would fare against the 3 main groups of FO:NV (as that is what this topic was created for anyways). Also, i don't think they should come back en masse too, i think maybe they could have more guys than in FO:NV though, here is an idea. More renmants like in FONV, but are actually grouped together but undercover, secretly trying to amass their strength. You can find out who they are by working with them or sneaking around, and can either destroy them or help them. Something like that would be fine, imo.
