Hey guys, I'm still new to Morrowind, so forgive me if this is a noob question. I was attempting a Mage's Guild quest where I need to go to Punabi. While exploring, I came upon a caster who summoned something (sorry I don't know what it is). I had no problem killing them, but somehow my encumberance was reduced to zero. I assumed some kind of Burden spell had been cast on me. I waited a few minutes, but it never went away. I used a scroll to teleport to the temple in Balmora, and still at zero. I dumped everything, figuring maybe I neede to cure myself at the temple. Still couldn't move. I checked everywhere on my menu pages, but I couldn't find any active effects. At the top of my magic menu, there were 3 icons, but they were all the positive effects from my race and birthsign. Luckily, I had saved not far back, so I just re-loaded. Any ideas? Did I miss something in the menus. Could it have been a glitch? I play an Xbox original game on the 360. Thanks

Summoning mage and not being able to move? I bet he summoned a Bonewalker, it permanently damages Strength attribute. Healing at a temple or casting/drinking Restore Strength should fix it.

Permanent? Wow, good to know. I guess I'll carry some of those potions with me. At zero, even with everything in my inventory dumped, I couldn't move. I'm trying to raise my Alchemy, so this is a perfect time to do it. Thanks for the help.

If you're a magic caster, you can also buy a restore strength spell instead of carrying the potions around with you. I just finished buying a custom spell to restore all attributes 5 pts to cover the problem you ran into. Tthe Temple and Imp Cult shrines give separate cure disease and restoration blessings.
