end game stuff - outfits

Post » Sun Mar 27, 2016 12:19 pm

Hey guys, I wanted to get some input from others in regard to outfits in the wasteland. Specifically, does it feel like luck on the outfit affects what the dwellers find out there?

I have been doing some anecdotal testing, and it doesn't seem like it does. But if it's supposed to, what is the best outfit for the wanderers? I am leaning toward Confessor Cromwell's Rags (e2 l2), what about you?

Probably also anecdotal, but when I was getting started I heard Luck only affected the amount of caps, but Perception helped with the quality of drops. I haven't found the recipe for Professor Cromwell's Rags yet, but I mostly make Bittercup outfits, and Autumn outfits. Most of my people are returning with 6-9 stimpacks, so I stopped focusing on strength like the MK VI Power Armor. I may stop making Autumn and start making Professor Cromwell's once I get that recipe.

Thanks for the reply.

I figure just 1 endurance on an item is enough (with dweller max End, no rad damage) then Luck or Percept from there. (if Percept does items like you said).

Nobility Outfit (e2 i2 l1) isn't bad either. Not impressed, overall, with outfits. Especially relative to how weapons grow in power, outfits don't seem follow the same arc.

I've been sending them out with Lucky Formal Wear +7, and I haven't noticed an increase in Legendary (but it has always been about 2-4 anyway). I'm going to switch to Perception boosters now.
