End of the line about the new patch

Post » Tue Dec 29, 2009 2:09 pm

Does it erase ALL dlc related things: YES or NO?
I've gotten too many mixed answers, some people say it does, same say it does not

Please give me a definitive answer, I would really like to hear from the people who did indeed patch their games

Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no definitive answer. Unlike stdenver, I didn't lose anything after patching my game. I wish I could tell you why I didn't, but I really don't know.

Go to your game data utility tab and you'll see 2 folders called New Vegas DLC (US) and New Vegas DLC (CA). You have to delete ONLY the folder that says New Vegas DLC (CA) which will return your DLC back to normal as though nothing happened.

Bethesda should really post this info somewhere more accessible. . . .

Actually im really not sure if what he says is correct with deleting the dlc... If you delete the dlc file then you deleted your dlc right? and then the store has to be up to redownload.

yesterday I did fix it but i did not deleted the file that did said dlc but the 1.5 update then i turn off the internet connnection to the ps as to not have the update try to download. but the game did go back to the day it came it and yes i lost boone already. Now the problem is that this did not fix my preorder dlc but only my dead money add on? hope this helps and hope we only have to wait on more week for honest hearts!

The CA copy is the Canadian copy of the DLC. It was included with the US version for reasons unknown. The update disables the DLC because it sees you have two copies. Assuming you live in the US, delete the Cannadian one. If you don't trust me then read this thread:
