Endgame content

Post » Thu Mar 27, 2014 5:19 am

Not sure if this was posted yet, but: http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/news/post/2014/03/26/esos-veteran-content

Apparently adventure zones are not the large raids but these "Trials" are. I wonder if this means that trials are in at launch, just not adventure zones, as I don't remember them saying there won't be trials at launch, only adventure zones. But I may be wrong(most likely am).

The trial do sound really interesting but I don't see them catching on too much for gear but for pure difficulty.

Also is it true you are actually an admiral and not a captain?

Lol yeah. Right now I dont see any progression Endgame PvE in ESO, which is pretty ridiculous.

I made a thread on this issue but its reaching its limit anyways, so we need a new thread to discuss Endgame PvE - crafting ftw!!! lol

did you read the post? I saw plenty. its not all about the best items(I hope) for what is the point of crafting if not to use it on endgame content?

Aye, Aye Cap'n..

And it seems to me there is a whole lot of engame content. You can't expect the same engame content you get in every other MMO, this one has been way different on many other fronts, why not this one?

Some of it sounds very interesting.

Gives a nice variety too, so regardless of what style you play the game in there should be something enjoyable to continue doing.

Being able to visit other factions "to experience them too" is not a valid argument when it comes to endgame content, you would have to rebalance those quests to give a challenge to whoever reaches lvl 50.

I see plenty of content there, not sure about you. add that to 2 faction questlines and us pve'ers(I do also like a bit of pvp) have PLENTY of content(besides craglorn at launch, but at a leisurely pace by the time I am done with my Faction the first update will be out)

@CheesusChrist95.... THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! what are they going to do, throw level 5 quests at a levle 50 VR1?

Didn't read that right, still, how do they plan to implement such quests? Will they separate Veterans from Newcomers? :/

Yeah, I'm not sure either and am very interested to find out. It sounds like - if I'm gleaning the right information from it - that there'll be new missions to do in these areas, though that's probably more of a hope rather than something based on any kind of 'fact'.

2/3rd of the basic PvE content is available once in veteran ranks. From the little I've seen in the betas so far, that will be quite a bit.

What you saw were developers CLAIMING what WILL BE in the game. Go through enough mmo launches and you'll learn that what is said before launch about post launch content and actual post launch content are rarely the same thing. Till it's actually in the game, no expectations are had and no points are earned.

The Veteran Rank quests in opposing faction territory is content this currently is in the game. There are videos of it on youtube. AZ and Trials, though, are "upcoming content".

The Veteran Rank players from OTHER factions will not be visible by people who are from that faction. you can only play with/ party with people from your faction in other factions. so essentially you have 2 other factions to explore that re endgame.

Trials sounds challenging hopefully they keep it around that.

At least we know where Craglorn is now.

So the big question right now is: Does ESO have Progression PvE or not?

Up to now, the only things that ZOS has released in another zone for questing and dungeons (but for groups of 4) and an Leaderboard mini-game called Trials.
