Endgame content?

Post » Wed Dec 08, 2010 9:10 pm

What kind of endgame (done all quests and got all trophies) content will we see?

Will there be hunting challenges or minigames to do?

I dont wanna run around being bored and kill everyone and pisss about. I want something to do.

I really hope there will be big expansions, like Shivering Isles. I was never really into the DLC in Fallout 3 tbh. But I got Oblivion GOTY which was handy as everything was already on it, even though I waited 2 years after release to get it.

And dont say "make another character" because straight after I would know exactly what to do in the game. It takes me at least 5 or 6 months to forget most of the content in the games (like Oblivion and Fallout), and I dont want to wait that long in order to have a better experience (its boring knowing whats hiding round the corner :( )

It takes me years to forget how events in a game occur, but I have no problem trying different personalities and play-styles... unfortunately in Oblivion there really was not much diversity in the consequences of your actions as well as fallout 3. They are pretty much 1 time games unless I just want to try new ways of stabbing things.

EDIT: I would think a sandbox game would allow for more diversity in quest results instead of just being a big hack and slash playground.

There is shouldn't be any "end game-content". If you actually manage to complete every faction you can and explore every bit of the game, you either make a new character, download some content mods or you find a new game.

"Endgame"?

I don't really think TES games are structured that way. You can explore and do all the sidequests, and then do the main quest at 100+ hours.... or you can do the MQ right off, then do sidequests.... or you can just wander the world ignoring the quests completely.... or a mix of those three.... or whatever.

There isn't really an "endgame".

end game is when you are playing a character and have more trouble finding new experiences than experiencing new discoveries.

TES is akin to religious or spiritual experiences for many people and respond accordingly. I was guilty of being a bit blindly zealous about NV when it came out...
