Endgame is gay : Fallout: New Vegas

I just finished Fallout: New Vegas, and i feel that although the endgame was cool and worth watching, it really pissed me off that you can't play after the final mission. Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels that they should allow some sort of continuous play after the endgame. Because until then, I'm not even sure I will play the game again.

Gay? Just make another character, they're 6 different endings.

I fail to see how an endgame could be homosixual, unless it was a dating sim of some sort.
I think you need to reevaluate your use of the word.
Or did you mean to say it was a happy ending? That is not implied by the connotation of your post content.

And the endgame is the end for a specific reason- there are too many changes made to the game world to be accurately represented at this time. There are currently no plans to make a DLC that would show these changes, but that may change. If you would like to keep playing, simply do not complete that quest and load a previous save. The game is very clear when you are going beyond the point of no return.

I guess posting in any one of the dozen threads on this topic, several of them on the front page, was just too much for you, huh? But then I suppose you wouldn't have been able to add 'gay' to the title, and it looks like that was important for you . . . .

No chance. I'd have been royally ticked off if the game just devolved into an endless respawning shooting gallery, and had no events in the story that could possibly contradict any random post game wandering. I am greatly pleased and content with their choice, and will happily replay the game for years with various PC's (Each with their own varied experiences).

It would be nice if you could do like a new character plus game... enemies super high levels and such with your old character, along with enhanced weapons and such...

Why would you finish the game in less than a week? I've got over 30 hours of game time and I'm now where near finished. Maybe you should just take your time and enjoy the Fallout world. This game is just as good as the last, actually even better. Just give it time and you'll see plenty of download content.

The devs made it very clear BEFORE release numerous times that NV would have a "true" ending... YOU NO LIKE???!!! ... YOU NO BUY!!! :nono:

Why would you finish the game in less than a week? I've got over 30 hours of game time and I'm now where near finished. Maybe you should just take your time and enjoy the Fallout world. This game is just as good as the last, actually even better. Just give it time and you'll see plenty of download content.

What is so important about being able to play after the endgame? It warns you that you need to finish up the other stuff first so its not like it is a surprise.

you are all right about the gay. idk why i added it. but i am irked at the fact i cant beat the game 100% without having to redo the game completely. I took my time to make my first character perfect. and once i beat the game i couldn't even use him anymore. i just wish i could play after the endgame.

My question is why did you even expect to be able to?

Fallout 1 no playing after endgame
Fallout 2 no playing after endgame
Fallout 3 no playing after endgame

Seeing a pattern?

you couldnt do every mission even if you can continue after the end because of the faction missions

This is something I want you to tell all of your friends who have the same problem;

Even if they did allow to play after the ending, there is NO WAY you would be able to do everything the game has to offer. There are multiple paths, your choices have consequences, and if you decide to do one thing you may very well end up not doing another. 100% on one character is IMPOSSIBLE in New Vegas.

Fallout 2 no playing after endgame

That's actually not true. Fallout 2 let you continue on after the end. It was utterly useless except to talk to the people in Reno and Vault City who all congratulate you on killing the Enclave, but it was possible.
