The whole write up is a good read,but at the very end is when its mention that the The Voice Director let it slip,that their are 8 endings over the two characters! Hmmm? I'm not wholly sure what you're talking about but I did perk up at the '8 endings over the two characters.' Does that mean you might get a different story/ending based on what six you play?

If there is different endings for each six, that would be cool.

Let's hope they don't mean eight endings total, haha. As in, only eight possible combinations for all the consequences of your actions throughout the game. But I'm sure that's not the case.

Hah. You should know by now that when Bethesda says any numbers, they're completely meaningless. Howard originally said Fallout 3 was going to have like 200 endings.

Yes, but the difference here is that we already know each choice of protagonist has like 13,000 lines of dialogue, as well as the fact that most of the content would pretty much be in-game by this stage. I don't think that they would say that this time unless it was true, that is of course if they actually did say it.

I doubt there will be an 'ending' of any sort. I think Bethesda has learned that people want to keep playing. They fixed that in DLC for Fallout 3, didn't have an 'end' in Skyrim, and probably saw a lot of people [censored] about it in New Vegas. I wasn't among those complaining about the New Vegas ending, but that's because the ending was actually handled pretty well.

8 endings is like nothing for a Fallout game.

Where have you been, they've been making assumptions about FO4 for years.

That said, I honestly couldn't imagine why anyone would be opposed to multiple endings for Beth's games. It's one of the things that many of us have wanted for years.

And, you can still have ending slides while still having post MQ play. The slides are part of what Fallout is, removing them would be unforgivable.
