It would include minor loot though. You can only kill goblins so many times before you have pretty much gotten everything you can from them in terms of variety. You can only have so many lockpicks, gold coins, iron maces and crappy leather shields. I do wish that they randomized loot in chests though. Say you loot a chest you have to wait so many game hours before you can loot it again. I don't mean hitting the wait button and looting the same chest again. I mean you have to be actually playing for a few hours or something.

The real question is will they respawn to your new current level, or respawn every time to the level you were when you first entered the dungeon?

Entering a dungeon over and over again throughout the game that never changes it's creature/treasure level would be really boring. Even in MW if you re-entered a tomb the creatures leveled to your current level. They only remained the same if you didn't clear it out.

Yes, but if they stay on the same level as you last visit, which was 30 levels ago, it won't be much of a challenge and won't give you any relevant gear.

I wonder if the dungeons themselves will reset... meaning chests will be relocked and traps reset. That was always kind of a bummer in Oblivion... a world full of sprung traps and apparently nobody skilled in the arts of repairing them :(

It would be really cool if there was a random name generator for the thousands of bandits and marauders we will undoubtedly kill. Even though it's a small change, it's a lot more satisfying slaying people with actual names as opposed to "Bandit" or "Bandit Leader". From the demo, it seems like generics will be back, so I doubt I'll revisit any dungeons or caves anyway. I don't see the point in killing the same things over again in the same dungeons. As for finding new items via loot, visiting the 150+ dungeons once should provide me with everything I'll need. But for those who love the combat and want to collect every bit of loot, this is good news.

Actually with the new clear thing on map I wasn't 100% sure of respawn but its nice to know its still the case. Also though with 150 dungeons how many times will one re-enter a previously cleared dungeon for it really matter with one character? edit: sorry wasn't taking into account the people who uses one character for 1000's of hours but lets say normal 300 hr playthrough?

So what use are the cleared dungeon markers on the map?
As for respawning at your level, that's Oblivion scaling. You enter a tough dungeon, you have to retreat, you level up a few times. When you re-enter, everything is tougher to match you. Are people really asking for this?

I actually did this a lot in OB. There was one bandit cave in OB near the IC that I would 'farm' for exp and loot. Course in OB the bandits would level with me so I got better loot. I hope that in Skyrim they level like MW and instead of monsters that are higher level, we get fixed, but higher level monsters. (i.e. - Greater BoneWalkers instead of Skeletons, as opposed to level 5 bandits to level 20 bandits (same creature, different level).)

One thing that bothered me in Oblivion was how every Goblin became a Warlord and every bandit a rich nobleman decked out in shiny armor whenever I leveled up.

I'd rather their stats just increased.

It feels silly to kill all the Warlords of the goblins in a single run through of a common mine :<

Do Enemies usually respawn in Elder Scroll Games - Yes

Do Enemies usally Respawn in Fallout Games - No, not really

Is Enemy Respawn generally a good thing? Yes, but not if copy.

What I mean is I hope the respawn system is randomized a bit better, I would love it to switch at one point its Vampires, then its Trolls, then its Bandits, then its Vampires, then its Maruaders, then its... etc. Keep the static chain off, and give us some variety so Diablo 3 doesn't look like the only game with a ever-changing environmental dungeon system.
