thank you for your reply. Something has changed now. I switched this value:
<!-- The colors for gfx and text can be configured separately. Used if _HUDOverrideColor = 1 -->
I had it set to 1 before, now 0
The rest I set to:
<_HUDRed> 200 <!-- HUD Gfx Color 120 -->
<_HUDGreen> 240
<_HUDBlue> 255
<_HUDTxtRed> 200 <!-- [197] HUD Text Color -->
<_HUDTxtGreen> 245 <!-- [255] -->
<_HUDTxtBlue> 255 <!-- [255]
<!-- These colors are used as warning/alert colors for the meters when _HUDDynamicColors = 1 -->
<_HUDWarnRed> 255 <!-- [190] Warning, red component -->
<_HUDWarnGreen> 200 <!-- [140] Warning, green component -->
<_HUDWarnBlue> 27 <!-- [0] Warning, blue component -->
<_HUDAlertRed> 255 <!-- [200] Alert, red component -->
<_HUDAlertGreen> 20 <!-- [10] Alert, green component -->
<_HUDAlertBlue> 50 <!-- [0] Alert, blue component -->
Before, the bar meter was all red even when enemy health was high. Now there is the color of the tick graphic plus the warning color. I'll just have to play with it to get something better, but now it's not all red. I'll attach screenshots for you to see. I'd still like the red text the system color.

damn! I don't see how to attach files here. I spent some time making the screenshots you wanted.
