could it also be a setting i have in the bashed patch? feels like a very immersion breaker, they attack only after i try to talk to them. pleaaase help, im so close to having a good stable fcom setup to enjoy, if it weren't for this little nuisance.

Typical symptom of AI overload, fixed by using an FCOM reduced spawn plugin. Wait 4 days for a respawn after adding it. You have some other issues in the LO as well but I'm on the iPhone so too much of a hassle to comment on them.

EDIT: OK, on a computer now so here are some additional notes:

0E Cobl Races TNR.esp [Version 1.53] - Import NPC faces into the Bashed Patch and keep unchecked, otherwise it will override OOO's NPC stats.
0F Cobl Races TNR SI.esp [Version 1.53] - As above to save a slot.

32 OMOBS.esp [Version 1.0] - Consider updating to the latest version. Import stats and keep unchecked.
33 OMOBS_SI.esp [Version 1.0] - As above.
34 OMOBS Optional Combat Settings.esp [Version 1.0] - Don't use as you already have those settings with FCOM.

3C Mart's Monster Mod - Gems & Gem Dust.esp [Version 3.7b3p3] - Don't use with OOO/FCOM.

Also, I know xul Snowdale needs an OOO patch so you might want to check if some other ones need patches as well. Not using UL so not sure.

I find this happens often even in a vanilla game when I play characters with very high personality and/or fame. I hadn't bothered to give it much thought until just now because I'd never heard of anyone else having the same weirdness with it. What are your character's stats & fame/infamy, if you don't mind me pestering you about it? Does it still happen on a brand new character?

or maybe you have joined (somehow) their faction.


Sorry, we must have been posting at about the same time. Have you also experienced this?

I've noticed this too, during both my plays-through. With me it's not bandits who act nice, but highwaymen and not all those. It's the ones who initiate dialog and demand cash or combat. Some of them simply give me a warm greetings and nothing else. I normally treat them as kind-hearted souls who might yet renounce their evil ways, and let it go at that.

As I recall, my current avatar's fame is a bit over 200. He has no infamy, and in fact earned only two infamy points throughout his career...one very early on for reasons that now elude me, one much later when he absentmindedly removed his helmet in the Imperial City while on a Legion road-patrol assignment. Both incidents were corrected almost immediately.

(He also has only around 30 assaults to his credit, and got many of those during another bout of absentmindedness while cleaning out dungeon filled with evil humanoid residents. He forgot that initiating sneak attacks on such folk counts as an assault. He'd racked up nearly ten assault points before realizing his error.)

I believe his speechcraft is maxed, with a personality over 100 (thanks to some mod-awarded stat bonuses).

There have been rare occasions where important quest NPCs who should have been hostile weren't. That can be tricky if one hopes to keep to the straight and narrow.

Yes.
The first time with a disguise mod: I run into some bandits, but they didn't attacked me with the bandit disguise. This because when you put a disguise, you automatically join the related faction.

The second time it happen by playing as a noble. (High fame, personality, agility and luck, high speechcraft, mercantile, block and blade, no armors but magic clothes with many magic shields/resistances/boosts).
Well, the high fame, personality and speechcraft raise everyone's (even evil guys) disposition to above 90-95. Also some bandits try to defend me from a daedra (the only ones that attacks even with 100 disposition).

I noticed some other issues with your Load Order- On the TESNexus Cobl page there is an extra download http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21104/-called Loot Drop Merchant changes Proposal- This should bring your Cobl to version 1.73.
There is a newer version of the MMM-Cobl.esp [version 1.73] available from the MMM thread also.
In your Bashed Patch in Tweak Settings there is a tweak for AI:Max Active Actors-You can adjust this to the MMM Default :40, or make it as high as 100, there is also a Combat: Max Actors setting-I use 40, but I am not sure if I actually could raise the value.
I have had this issue because of having too many active processes, but I have had a highwayman growl and tell me to just leave him alone, because of a high reputation,but have the process glitch cause a group of bandits do absolutely nothing ten minutes later.
EDIT there is also a newer version of OMOBS and OMOBS-SI (version 2.0) available now on TESNexus.
