No energy drinks for me. It'll probably be Dr Pepper or Mello Yello.

The lack of coffee in this topic makes me feel so alone :sadvaultboy:

I drink coffee all day, every day. I've been known to take a cup to bed with me. (It helps me not oversleep. I'm a super heavy sleeper otherwise.)

I cold brew coffee for hot days, percolate it for cold days, grind fresh beans and French press it when I have time, and buy it at gas stations when I have a buck to spare. I do drink Monster, but I'd rather buy one container of coffee for 7 bucks than three Monsters for 6 bucks.

Water, or a nice ale if I'm feeling fancy, but usually just water.

Edit: Also, this has little to to with Skyrim but rather gaming in general.

I stay away from energy drinks,

They may give you a boost, but you gotta come back down sooner or later.

So i drink water or any kind of fruit juice.

I heard a docter talking about them to a student who was hooked on redbull.

I've heard that most people are almost always dehydrated/thirsty and don't even know it because they drink so little water, not to mention all the sodium in energy and soft drinks that actually absorbs what water there is in your body. This can cause kidney stones among other health problems. I hope you drink a lot of water to balance that out at least. I try to limit my intake of that kind of thing and drink lots of water, but I could be better at it.

I do not know how many people do this but, I drink energy drinks while I play games in general. But when it comes to TES I always have my specials: Monsters, Rockstars, No Fear, and Full Throttle. There are others, but tend to stick with those though. So I was wondering for people who do: what energy drinks will you drink when Skyrim comes out?

No kidney stones for me thx. I used to drink monster but after a while I started to get caffeine headaches when I didn't have it in me. Wasn't worth it. Besides.. my hobby of video games are already unhealthy enough as it is.. I don't need to give the grim reaper running shoes.

When I was a bit younger I used to drink V's and ice coffee with guarana.

These days I'm a bit wiser and tend to avoid soft drinks and energy drinks. I have an espresso machine and import my favourite coffee grind from http://www.merlo.com.au/ which I used to live around the corner from. "Private Blend" Latte with no sugar.
I also enjoy tea throughout the day. Usually plain, sometimes Chai or equivalent. White no sugar.

Health Issues with Artificial Sweeteners:
Spoiler
One of the main reason I stopped drinking energy drinks is because of a trusted friend of mine who was shocked by the results of some chemical tests conducted on the things. I would strongly urge you not to go over the daily limit on the tins and even consider giving them up completely.

I've also recently read up on and now avoid the artificial sweeteners included in most "Fat free" and "Diet" products. Pretty much contains poisons. Although small doses, excessive consumption only makes things worse. http://www.fedupwithfoodadditives.info/factsheets/Factsugarfree.htm I highly recommend people look around and make your own conclusions. Especially for people with existing health issues such as diabetes, depression, gastritis, and other similar problems. Aspartame (an artificial sweetener) has shown a higher level of negative effects on people with those conditions.

One of the scariest things about this problem is that artificial sweeteners are in a lot of products!

Venom is the only Energy drink that doesn't make me want to vomit, so I will have some when I first play Skyrim. That, or Soda.

I like to drink vodka when I game sometimes. But for Skyrim I will be cracking open my fresh batch of home brewed mead like a true Nord!

I got myself a http://www.1stincoffee.com/product_images/Capresso/s9ot-300.jpg for Xmas last year and it was probably a terrible decision because I have developed a habit of drinking 5-6 cappuccinos per day or the equivalent of 10-12 shots of espresso

I actually prefer drinking Sunny D while playing video games. Buuuut if I need to stay up I might invest in a case of Amp or Monster. Just depends on the mood.

I'll probably buy some delicious alcoholic beverages for Skyrim. I'll certainly have a few beers and maybe some Mike's Hard Lemonades.

Mead and skooma, I like to get into the character.

Don't like energy drinks too much, it doesn't do anything for me and has too much sugar. Though a tequila bomb into a redbull never hurt anyone (that I know of).

None. I drink Water and Coke. I'll have the occasional Nos if I must stay up, but that's generally to play games that require little brainpower, unlike Skyrim. (Hopefully.)
