Energy transfer module

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 4:11 pm

Does anyone find this module pretty much useless as well? When i first saw it, i figured if you kill someone, it automatically replenishes your energy. That is true, as long as you aren't using armor/power/stealth during or directly after the kill. I imagined it replenishing your energy, even if you are currently using energy or not. Obviously my kills, along with I am sure all of you here, mostly happen while I am in armor mode. If I get a kill while using energy or use energy right after it, it will not replenish. I find this extremely pointless since your energy replenishes itself quite quickly while not using any energy anyways. I was hoping at higher upgrades it would work regardless of whether you are using energy or not, but that's not true. Any suggestions as to what i should use instead for an armor module?

I use it, and that's exactly how it works...
Regardless of what mode you're in (stealth, armour, or nothing activated) when you get a kill, your energy bar will flash blue, and the energy will be replenished. At the earlier levels of the module, I think it replenishes up to 50% of the total amount available. at level 3, it replenishes fully.

however it doesn't make you temporarily invincible. If you are in a firefight and get hit, your energy might deplete right away.
Seems that the best way to make this module work is to switch yourself to stealth right after a single kill, and then run to some cover, or if you're in a firefight, make sure to switch to armor right away.

Pay attention to your levels, the module does work.

IMO Energy Transfer is the best Armor module, followed by Nano Recharge and Proximity Alarm in IA and TIA games.

Detonation Delay is excellent for Crash Site.

i find it always useful as it is nearly an unlimited supply of energy if you don't die! it allowed me to reach the kill limit in IA on City Hall! There was a great guy too but I think he let me win cause he had Jack of All Trades but who knows?

The modules I use is Visor Enhance, Energy Transfer and Weapons Pro! Should I swap any out?

BTW does the module that lets you fire quicker include the Marshal? If only you could adjust ADS sensitivity and normal view sensitivity differently... When this game doesn't lag its real fun...

Swap out Visor Enhance and replace with Stealth Enhance III, the difference is like night and day.

BEST MODULE IN THE GAME.
In fact Energy Transfer III is just plain ridiculous.

The fact than you can fire while cloaked, have your energy drain to 0, but fully restore your energy so long as you get a kill is totally and utterly priceless.

Maybe it does work, and the only times I have watched it are times when I am getting shot at after a kill.

The problem with Energy Transfer is it gives you energy when you cloak shoot or run out and would otherwise be punished for doing what you're not supposed to do or managing your energy. If they make it so you DON'T get energy in those situations, then it will be fine.

SE3? Won't it be hard to level up? so does it let you fire with the marshal quicker?
