Not really - it's all completely subjective. To assume that everyone who hasn't played the game would all think the same thing, is quite a bold statement.
No.
H0RSE, we respect you for your omniscience about all things Brink, but I'm going to have to differ with you on how the English language works. If you say that mines arm themselves, and then you don't say anything to qualify or contradict that statement, you have just told us that
all mines arm themselves. By way of comparison, if I say that gay men have lisps, and you correctly point out that a lot of them don't, I don't get to say that I was right because
some gay men have lisps.
Really, it boils down to assuming that, when you say something, you mean something. If "mines arm themselves" is to have a meaning broad enough to include "mines normally require you to arm them with your pliers, but after earning the entire set of engineer skill rewards, your mines become self-arming", then there is so much ambiguity in the things you are saying about gameplay that we can no longer trust that anything else you say about the game means
anything.
So, if what you said is different from what you meant, just amend what you said. We honestly don't mind if you occasionally make mistakes! We do it too.
