I feel like there has recently been a surge of forum-goers who plan to play as Engineers, but maybe that's just me.

And I'm still playing Soldier, even though I might not like the fact that I have to drop ammo.
Theres only 14 keys on my gamepad. 6 reserved for movement, one for reload, one for quick-switch, one for comm, one for voice, and one for use.

So uh, are grenades and ammo drops in the quick switch cycle? Because if they aren't its going to force me to use my 1-2-3-4 keys on my keyboard.

Edit: 15 keys, one extra button and a scroll wheel. Forgot to mention the extra ones. One is for Jump, the other is for SMART. Scroll would be for whatever.

And Soldier is my #2 choice.

I decided i will play soldier the other day after i played a bit of ET and decided operative wasn't something i would be good at. Im a terrible acter and tend to get caught out.

So ill be starting soldier though i will be trying the other classes and might change depending on what i like most

I get 16 characters to set up, and they're all going to have different purposes so at least 2 will fill the soldier and 2 will fill the engineer roles.

As of now the plan would be a Heavy Soldier, a Heavy Engineer, a Medium Soldier, and a light Engineer.

I've already declared myself the King of Tanks (Besides being The King of Fire). So Soldiers fall under me.

There's a lack of engineers because they are a class that actually requires you to do something for the team.

Soldiers and operatives are such easy choices for those who are focusing mainly on killing.

Medics help out the team as well, but they seem more adaptable and flexible, so a few more people want to play as them.

I need to play them all before I make a choice on which one I want to be my primary focus.

Not all soldiers are tanks, and not all tanks will be soldiers, so not all soldiers fall under you as king.

I'll have at least one of each class. I am definitely a team player, and I plan to use each class properly and effectively to accrue a ghetto-booty load (converts to about 3.2 butt-loads) of experience. Upon maxing out a character the best I can, I shall consider "what is best for the team" before each choice.

Um, I don't think so, I've been an Engineer for forever, at least since I joined these forums

So I'm the ORIGINAL Engineer, but you can be my apprentice if you wish
