I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get the arrows from the display cases, and the bow from the barred alcove, in Rielle. I have the Sacred Ninjato. But I can't find the keys for the bow and arrows. Can I get a clue on where those keys are?

Also, the Ninja Psionic power doesn't seem to work. I can't do any telekinesis with it.

This is a great quest. I have already returned the Sacred Ninjato to the grandmaster, but I want to go back for the bow and arrows, once I get any idea how to actually get them. Good job!

Thanks!

Sorry. Ah yes clues... well glad you asked :ninja:

look for the secret entrance.

Also look for the keys in the chests scattered amongst the ruins in a random order in which you have to negotiate the traps etc in order to get to them.

Everything you need is on the shrine, hidden, but not unaccessable.

Look carefully for the chests, and search for the hidden door.

Clue:
Spoiler
The hidden door is near the shrine...

Hope that helps.

Please no posting of spoilers unless you use the spoiler function please.

Good question as I have changed the apple from a non poisoned food item to a poisoned food item. Actually, if I remember correctly, I made a new a poisoned apple and left the original untouched so you can only get the ninja poisoned apple from the grandmaster and some other places on the shrine. My version of the poisoned apple can be used as a poison, and I have left the original untouched.

So I am sure i left the original untouched.

This is a cool mod Coors, and I feel it works in well with the DB quest line.

Here's a pic of my Ninja character:

I have stopped by the forgotten shrine a couple of times, and have my rear-end handed to me each time. (Jasmine is only level 5)

I got up on the steps of the shrine a couple of times though, and each time I did, the game would crash, so I've been avoiding it.

You can see more pics of Jasmine in the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=699104&pid=10076616&st=0&#entry10076616 if your interested. :goodjob:

Aaaaah, there is alot of action around the shrine, alot of AI, so quite a bit of ram required. I play with 2gig of 667Mhz DDRII.

yeah it is extremely difficult with a low level player, but that is also half the fun, as nowhere in the game can "ideally" challenge you like this mod can, even at high level, one mistake, and you're dead... ;)

Oh you mean OBMM - yep no prob, just let it overwrite any previous version of the mod, and ensure you d'load the 1.4 version as well.

It is hard by all means, but the rewards and quest is worth it imho. I suggest starting a new player, and be sure to select the ninja birthsign and class to get the most out of the mod,as the adventure literally begins right in the starting cell...

As long as you download ver 1.4 you'll be fine, it has the omod data in it; what it means is that when you import into OBMM, it does everything for you at the prompt that is all in OBMM which I highly reccomend.

Happy gaming, remember, think fast, approach cautiously, you are Ninja :ninja: remember, not a knight with Full plate armor -

But most important, have fun, and do not attempt this mod if you have a heart condition!!

First off let me say that I haven't played this mod yet.

BUT

Let me ALSO say that just by the looks of it I will REALLY enjoy this mod a lot. For your first mod you took on a big project, and from what I've read, done an amazing job, so congradulations to you for having such a succesfull begining! When I read the title I was like "crap..more naruto" but you really surprised me! I can't wait to play.

I do have some questions though.

If you take on this quest, can you still do the main quest? Plus if you have a compainion mod (I have Ruined tails tale) will that interfer with being a ninja?

Also I see a lot of people asking for more combat moves. I thought that I would give you a link to this mod called http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?act=ST&f=25&t=608305. It is still in beta, and im not sure if its compatible with your mod (it should be i hope) but it adds a host of new combat abilitys for all weapons including bows, and seems like it would work well with your mod. Maybe you can get it so it comes with yours in future downloads?

Also, theres the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=697026&hl=deadly+reflexes mod that works well with it so people flip and can bash enemys/make them fall down. Yeah... lol sorry for the edits.

Anyways, the mod just finished downloading so im going to go make a smexy elf ninja. Thanks again for the wonderful mod and you can count on constructive critism and the like from me in the future :)

Great to receive feedback, so thank you for your kind comments. It couldn't have been as good without some valuable work of the very talented modders that make up this community.

Yes, the main quest is definately alright with this mod, no problem at all. This mod also allows replayability as the Shinjii Ninja will always be a challenge for you.

With combat moves, not sure about the adreline mod, but I would definately reccomend Deadly Reflexes, I just got the latest copy and am looking forward to playing with it; it should be a fantastic addition alongside my mod - you'll see when you come across the Shinjii Ninjas, especially when they are tough as it is already, so be careful when they start flipping etc... omfg that would be so funny!! :toughninja:

Just be sure to read the readme carefully to get the most out of the mod, as there's tonnes of stuff packed into it.

Please drop on by and let us know how you go in the adventure... be careful, and don't play if yo have a heart problem...

Great that you took the time to give me your feedback at the prelimanary stage, i appreciate it and the fact you have dl'ed my mod - I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!!!

Do you have to use the Ninja birthsign to finish the quest? The only thing that stopped me from getting this before was that I thought it had to be used, and I didn't like the fact that being a ninja gave you telekinesis. But I just saw that the OP says you only have to use the ninja class to start the quest.

Yeah should be ok without the birthsign. Re; the telekinesis thing, yeah I just wanted to give the nInja other pwoers apart from that of magical spells, but I see where you are coming from.

Wow...this mod is challenging...and my character is having a HELL of a time trying to beat it. I'm roleplaying my character while fighting off the ninja's, and as such, he tries to vere away from using the armor (but his companion doesn't! ^^) as well as any heavy armor or anything of the sort.

Ouch.

I have to tell you though. This mod works INCREDIBLY well with Deadly Reflexes. It seems with how fast the ninja's are in attacking, as well as how fast they move benifit them as they dodge and weave away from your attacks because of Deadly Reflexes. Not to mention, for some reason, I finally managed to get a deathblow on a ninja, time slowed down and I aimed for her head to behead her, only for time to speed up in the nick of time for her to block, swing her ninjato to behead my character. o.O

I'm starting to hate ninja's...

-grins- I'm still trying to find the keys. But this mod is incredible as far as the layout, new items, and challenges it presents, as well as a pretty unique way to handle traps. I'm very impressed!

Still having a hard time finding those keys... But I don't think I've searched the doors.

Good job Coors!

This is a great Mod!

Took a good hour just to clear away the ninja around the shrine and the dungeon.
If you need help clearing away those ninjas...
Spoiler

A detect life spell helps A LOT (couldn't have gotten through this without the Grey Cowl)

I love the armor, its prefect for a sneaky character :ninja: . The traps are great and a perfect challenge.

But theres a couple things I can't put my finger on...

Spoiler

There is one of the ninja containers that I can't seem to open...the one past the spike trap and in the room with those two attacking traps, is there any way to open it?

And, the Ninja Grandmaster is carrying a "Grandmaster's chest key", does that open anything?

Great mod, it's lots of fun  11/10

Wow, fantastic looking pics - I like the action shots where the Ninja is doing a flying kick at the dude.

Looks cool, very much like the characters I create - I always play female characters majority of the time.

Thanks for posting the cool links :ninja:
