I have a male character, so his background is naturally that he is a recently discharged war veteran. While dealing with the Supermutants at a VFW Post, I read an email on the Post Commander's computer. He mentions that the Concord VFW Post had arranged to have my character appear as a guest speaker and that this Post should likewise arrange for that same decorated war hero (me!) also visit as a guest speaker.

I just thought was an incredibly nice, touching detail to be added to the game.

Your wife mentions that you're going to go speak at the VFW later that day when you're standing in front of the bathroom mirror at the very beginning as well.

Forgot about that. But still, being described as "a decorated war hero" gave me quite the warm glow inside.
