Enthir's "Book on Falmer"

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 11:26 am

After speaking with him upon leaving Snow Veil Sanctum I kept poking at his dialogue about the Falmer and he said he has a tome going more in-depth about what happened, and he said "It's on my desk".

So.. where is this alledged "Desk"? Is it in the College? Or the Inn? LOL.

EDIT: NEVERMIND.. found it heh. It's downstairs in the Cellar. Titled "The Falmer: A Study" if anyone else who would be interested in the read.

EDIT2: Read the book. Could make for a pretty badass DLC?

Agreed. Tough looking at past "battles" I'm afraid that it's going to be a disappointment. Bethesda have this habit of making "great battles" unreasonably small. I mean, look at Battle of Bruma, that battle was supposed to be held by hordes of Daedra and Soldier of Bruma (and allies, if you have them). Yet it turns out to be a mere clash between less than 15 guards and a few waves of daedra. The same goes for Battle of Whiterun, Solitude and Windhelm. Just once I want to lead at least 150-200 man to attack an enemy territory (in this case, Blackreach). Sure, sometime the game will crash and all that, but it certainly better than having some measly battle recorded in many books as the great battle of .

Dragon age did this pretty well. I thought the final battle in Fallout 3 was pretty good as well. And they didn't crash my computer.

I suspect that the way the final battle to the purification plant was done in Fallout 3 wasn't actually all that dissimilar to the fort/city battles in Skyrim, just less noticeable as you were not in one place.
