I posted a topic about this already but your physical evidence is quite intriguing, I really hope this leads to something greater in the future..great evidence btw.

I honestly do not want more than an island (like Solstheim) or a daedric realm as add-on.

Why? I feel that they need to save the provinces for entirely new games. If they decide to release Morrowind as add-on/DLC (for instance) it'd likely feel way too rushed and out of synch with the rest of Skyrim which is filled with content.

Although I feel that traveling to Morrowind to be effin awesome but I agree with you to a certain extent, I see what you mean..like if they remade Morrowind on PC as well as next gen consoles. Or just an entirely new province for that matter time will tell.

Personally, I would *love* it if, after they finish the major provinces(all their own games), they made a final one that was all the provinces together, set at whatever future timeline they decide is appropriate. The game would be *massive*, but with technology advancing the way it is, by the time they would get around to it I think it could be done. Just think...ALL of Tamriel at your disposal.

Eh... wasn't this done with Oblivion as well? Lifeless landscapes outside the borders.

It doesn't mean that all of that land will be used for some massive DLC so don't get overexcited.

It is however a great boon to modding teams who want to add large landmass mods as it removes the need for building or generating large amounts of terrain from scratch and making it all match up seamlessly with existing terrain borders, which is a large chunk of work. It is indeed fantastic news, but don't infer anything from it along the lines that Bethesda will be using all that land themselves for DLC, because that's highly improbable and unrealistic.

I just hate the title of this article. Cyrodiil and Morrowind do not comprise the "entire Tamriel landmass". It's just LOD textures for long distance view, and the map. Oblivion had the same.

That's what I thought. Oblivion had it and its DLCs had nothing at all to do with the Tamriel landmass LOD. A kind of dumb equation in my opinion, but who cares.
