Im on the quest to find Shalidor's Writings, and ive found 2 entrances, one to the Snow Veil Catacombs and one to the Snow Veil Sanctum (this is the one that my quest tracker points me to).
The problem is that inside the first room of the sanctum, there is a gate that i cannot find a way to open (the room is like 2 square feet, so there arent many places where a lever could be placed), and the
entrance to the catacombs requires a key.
My guess is that the one with the key is the real entrance, even tho the quest points towards the other entrance. So where can i find the key?

Turns out you have to get another quest from the thieves guild to get inside, gg.
