Environment mods

Post » Wed Aug 26, 2009 9:01 am

Hi, it's been a long time since I've had oblivion on my computer and I lost all the mods I downloaded. :(

Anyway, I'm looking for environment/weather mods. I have one in mind but I don't remember the name of it.

Any help would be great, and if there is already an environment mods thread then please forgive me for making another one.

Thanks! ^_^

weather: all natural
enhanced weather (weathers from this mod are used in Weather: All Natural, but enhanced weather itself is not bundled)
enhanced water
enhanced vegetation
detailed terrain
vibrant textures by CorePC
Bomret's detailed normals
beaming sunglare

those are what i use, anyway. i also use a pop-up grass retexture to match the ground better, but forgot the name.

also, don't forget to use PyFFI, Operation Optimization, and Low Poly Grass for better fps

edit: QTP3R is nice, too, but I only use the clutter and furniture etc from it. Oblivion Stutter Remover is pretty much essential, and Streamline's Streamsight feature helps with fps and immersion. which reminds me of RAEVWD (Really Almost Everything Viewable When Distant) which you have to be careful with as it can cripple fps. and there's also animated windows and smoking chimneys.

Sounds like you might be needing a look at my http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=960829. ;)

Clarification: Enhanced Weather is not included in All Natural. Its weathers are, that is all. There is a difference.

In my most highly unbiased (:P) opinion, I'd say All Natural is the best weather overhaul out there, and if you just want to add to the weather, Enhanced Weather is best at that.

You can't go wrong with with either of them, really.

EDIT: Yes, in case you were wondering, the above is a perfect example of a shameless plug. Take note, class.

I myself prefer All Natural, but the link Wrinkly Ninja gave you has a all the info you'll need to make up your own mind depending on what you are going for.
