Environments?

Post » Fri Mar 26, 2010 4:28 am

How varied are the enivironments in Brink going to be? We've seen lots of rust in Container City and the Shipyard. We've seen the abandoned airport and a little of the power plant. Some possible environments I'm thinking of are and overgrown orchard. In the beginning of the cinematic trailer I saw plants in the background and on the map on the Brink site it looks like an orchard in the middle of the map. I'm also think there will be an underside to the Ark, but this is pure conjecture. I would love to see an abandoned zoo or an abandoned race track along with a look at the Securities lifestyle.

From a pristine cityscape to a shanty-town of containers... that's about it.

i think it would be an interesting map. just like seelow on world at war but maybe a little bit smaller. have bunch of barns and fences around.

i will be spending most of my time as a heavy. smart doesnt really matter to me

A corn maze would be a rather awesome map. With or without zombies. :flamethrower:

A Woodland, something less urban, think Overgrown on COD4, and as for Smart moves, I'm sure there's trees, fences, and rocks/hills and other stuff.

Where would a woodland be on the Ark? Unless it was an cool biodome like forest.

Woodland is doubtful, greenhouse could work though.

Maybe a biodome, Pauly Shore included. Be a load of fun to do some parkour off of his head.

Maybe they planted a bunch of trees for fruits, and made an ecosystem to study, that just so happened to be a good route straight into the opposing teams territory?

Having the Resistance fighting Security and then have zombies as a neutral would be a very intense game.

All these talks about woodland and farms is not the ark imho, i dont think it would look right, some kind of greenhous or plantation but no full blown farm.

BUT a dlc where they go to the mainland would be good :goodjob:

I was thinking more on the lines of Left 4 Dead. It's just a thought and I know they will never do that.

What mainland? They're living on a floating city for a reason. The rest of the planet is flooded.

under water mission? increased smart? heavy can do med, med can do light, light can do ultra light? because water is denser than air bullet damage decreased to compansate added agility.,

i am not going to point out the problems with that.

as to mainland missions, they can just go the now lake filled and very cold mountains. only the high ones would be left, and they would be flooded, and probably icy. the lights will all slip, the heavies will all break through, and the mediums will be the only survivors! muwhahahahahahahaha!!!
