Also:

if you read Cicero's Journal Volume 1, he writes; 27th of Rain's Hand, 4E 187 Completed the Arena contract. I ultimately decided to pose as a starstruck fan, and immediately got into? the Grand Champion's good graces. While escorting the arrogant fool through the Great Forest, I slashed his throat and left the corpse for the bears. This is a reference to the Adoring Fan in Oblivion.

Hilarious thing just happened; I was searching for a treasure chest on an island, when suddenly i was attacked by a slaughterfish! Since in water you can't attack i was backing out of the water to get my axes out when suddenly an arrow zipped in from left field, went through 4 feet of water, and killed the fish in one hit. xD

I know probably any follower can do that, but still, it made me wtf at the time

And i'd just like to confirm that Jordis is ridiculously awesome. She just beat down two dragons. On her own. She can kill entire bandit camps solo, once killed 5-6 guards without going beneath 50% health...she's insane! The only thing she has trouble with is Giants, because they stagger her all the time, but she can kill them one on one as well, and it's awesome. Honestly, from time to time i kinda just stare at her and hope she doesn't decide to come after me. Like i said, without blocking she has more tankability than an elder dragon, and with it she would be practically invincible...

Like the time I was fiddling around on a wall, turned around, and found that she'd killed an entire forsworn camp, plus briarheart.

...yeah. Pretty sure I'm going to marry her, if she's interested.

Mjoll can do that as well, if you give her the right equipment.

Oh and regarding Cicero: I think he is hilarious, definitely one of the best NPCs in the game.

I quit using followers, they don't last long. I play as a Destruction/Conjuror Mage and my battles are so violent I stay well away from them. My followers don't and die easily when they get between a pair of Dremora Lords and whatever Dragur Deathlord I want dead. I stay well out of the fire and use dual wield lightning usually to stagger the toughest one. He will be the shouter. I will run up and shout sometimes but my massive amount of Magica requires Arch Mage robes and rings and amulets and I am not very tough even with Ironflesh cast first. I have a set of buffed Dragon Scale armor but it just makes me brave which always gets me killed. I very seldom wear it. Waste of a few hours and level point really.

I [censored] hate cannibals.
Markarth should burn collapse.

Seconded. Also doubly so for the fact that it is a vortex of bugs and glitches. To hell with that Forsworn conspiracy crap. When the modding tools come forth, I might make Markarth my pet project. That is, turning it into another empty ruin. Or I'll just place Dwemer blade traps all over the city.

I was considering taking her until she got over-excited with chain lightning and hit me with it 4 times in a row.

AAAAAwwwwwwwww I see it before me. That vixen!

On a side note, anybody else find it funny they made Breton chicks, pudgy goth girls? Looking through their presets in character creation is like a police line-up after a Bauhaus concert.

I'm playing a stealthy mage-assassin (fireballs and dagger throat cutting) and I'm pretty happy with that dark elf mercenary Jenassa you can pick up in Whiterun. She has pretty good stealth skill, plus she's one of the few companions that doesn't come with a shield, so she'll actually dual wield which is more fun to watch as I blast things from a distance. Her dialog's also not bad.

The http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Erandur guy is probably the best I've come across. Unique voice, says awesome things, is the most powerful mage that follows you, and can pretty much equip and be great with any armour or weapons you give him.

I really wanted him, but I killed him for the skull of corruption.

I'm not very nice these days.
