I didn't plan to post another thread today, but something incredible just happened that I have to share! I was near one of the Satcom arrays, don't know the name, but it's the one closest to Raven Rock. Around there, I was ambushed by a squad of Enclave troops. Normally, this would be no biggie, but they had two sentry bots so I made a break for the array. On the array, several Talon Company mercs fired at me with missile launchers. Amidst the bombardment, I hopped over the sandbags and ran through the door as the mines around it were activating. Once inside, I found a deathclaw sitting in the corridor leading to the door! It wasn't immediately hostile, though, so I ran through it and closed the door behind me. Judging by the aftermath, I guess several Enclave troops followed me into the array because the deathclaw lost some health and their corpses were on the ground. So I dispatched the mercs and scientist in the tower and proceeded to climb as the sentry bots closed in and killed the deathclaw. They shot missiles at me on the catwalk and so I made a break for the door. Once on the balcony, I was greeted by two Talon Company mercs with missile launchers. One of them fired at my feet at point blank and launched me into the railing! He and his partner were less fortunate, with the shooter dying on impact and the other merc being launched over the side! Alive! It was a long fall...
I continued onward and climbed the ladder, to find another Talon merc, this one with a combat shotgun, in the bunks. I killed him rather easily and then activated the terminal in the room. I uploaded this sequence I found on the ghoul scientist and then went to the top of the array. Fighting on the satellite dish, I duked it out with a Talon merc with a flamer. As I looted his corpse, I saw missiles fly down from the sky and rain nuclear fire on the wasteland around me. I re-loaded the auto save I got from entering the dish and ran over to the side of the dish to take a screenshot since I was ready for it the second time.
The Enclave got fried.
Anyways, I have a question and a request of you guys!
First: How do I post a screenshot? It's an awesome view of Armageddon and I would like to share it with you guys!
Secondly: What is your favorite Fallout 3 adventure? Tell me below in the comments!
"Ha! Now that's what this wasteland needs: more women with spunk and explosives!"
