No, but the happy trail and pit hair are confirmed.

You could in Fallout 3. No reason to not expect it.

Alas, the loss of Ocato's goatee from Daggerfall caused a lot of mental anguish and pain, that he banned beards, and those who refused to shave were killed or exiled into Altmora. To this day, his persecution of the unshaven is legendary, with folks whispering tales of his ghost appearing to those who do not shave, and kills them.

This should be canon! Or at least an in universe satire jokingly claiming that to be reason facial hair went out of style during the late third era.

In one screen the Draugr's have beards. If player can't grow a beard but draugr's can, then something's wrong.

Even if they're female?

Greybeards without actual grey beards? Seems unlikely.

I think I saw a guy on one of those pictures from game informer with a beard. The one where you see a woman in a tavern

I've never had a bearded character. I probably may not in the future. But I'll be damned if I said I wasn't excited for bearded NPCs!

Having a beard is one thing, being able to grow it is something else.

I'm sure beards will be in the game, but don't expect it to grow any more than what you start with.

I think they should spend the next 11 months making growable beards; divert all of their man power to this task.

In fact, strip out the rest of the gameplay, it should become a beard growing simulator.

Exactly what I was thinking... Since GreyBEARDS are confirmed, its pretty much solid proof that beards will be in the game.

I can't imagine Skyrim without beards.

Indeed, plus, Fallout 3 already had beards in it. I think it's safe to assume that the lack of proper beards (The dirty faces of Oblivion don't count, and we didn't see Sheogorath's beard until the expansion and it was a feature only available to his own special race.) in Oblivion was because Bethesda couldn't figure out how to get it to work with the Facegen used in the game, but since Fallout 3 and New Vegas can pull it off while using Facegen, I see no reason to assume that Skyrim can't.

I'm sure beards will be in the game, but don't expect it to grow any more than what you start with.

You're probably right, and I wouldn't ask for it any other way, growing beards during gameplay would be pointless, this is not the SIms we're talking about here. I wouldn't even like it, because when I go to great lengths to create exactly the character I want, I don't want my character's appearance to be ruined by changes not of my choosing during gameplay, like say, beard growing.

Even if they're female?

Especially if they're female
