Epic Dagon Fel

http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43939/?

Epic Dagon Fel is the fourth installment in my Epic City Mods. It litters the slopes and edges of Dagon Fel with Dwemer Ruins, creating the illusion of a bigger city. There are also some shacks that have been added to town. On top of this, I've also added a mini dungeon that you can call your home. To get the details on that, talk to some villagers in town.

INSTALLATION ////

Unzip Epic_DagonFel.zip into your Data folder.

If you are using MGE or MGXE, don't forget to run the distant land generator again with Epic Dagon Fel turned on!

Enjoy!

NOTICE ////

While not nearly as insane as the others, I should just keep the disclaimer that this is mod is system intensive. MGE and MCA users might have to do some tweaking to optimize performance if they have dips in framerate. I would not recommend downloading this if your rig is circa 2003.

COMPATIBILITY ////

This mod is not compatible with any Dagon Fel expansion mods. It is however, compatible with the popular Hilgya the seamstress mod. You can download a mod friendly version on the nexus.

I'm usually not a fan of town expanding mods, but this one looks amazing, I especially love the half-submerged statue, very good idea.

For some reason I get a bunch of errors like http://i.imgur.com/8tM7UuV.png when trying out the mod. Is it only me? Also http://i.imgur.com/yxta4vq.jpg, which may or may not be related.

From what I seen of the mod it does look spectacular though. Love the attention to detail! :)

I love Dagon Fel! Back in the day, http://i.imgur.com/d6J8mzY.jpg I spent more than one game entirely in that area (and Solstheim). It's always been one of my favorite towns.

I think what you've done with the town looks great. I particularly like all of the towering Dwemer stuff you've added to the area outside of town. It does actually give Dagon Fel a more "epic" feel, as advertised. I will certainly use this mod in my next game. Thank you.

Thanks! You won't find any other statues in Dagon fel either. Statues are a big deal! We gotta keep em that way! :P

Strange about that texture error and the door. I wonder if it had something to do with the way I cleaned it. Anyway! I used an old dirty backup and cleaned it with TES3cmd rather than enchanted editor. Hopefully that will help! :)

Thanks! I like what you've done with it as well! :)

It was in-directly requested that this mod was incompatible with the very popular, Hilgya the Seamstress mod. I've fixed that. You can download the mod compatible version of Epic Dagon Fel now. Please let me know if there are any other small but popular mods that conflict with this, and I'll be happy to take a look and see what I can do.

Yet another quality mod from Mike_and_ike! I take it you've kept the amount of extra lootable items to a minimum?

I remember installing Epic Balmora and finding an enchanted dagger in one of the added baskets. Being an insufferable purist, I uninstalled the mod shortly after.

The amount of lootable items now has an ownership attached to it, and it's pretty common supplies this time around. You found an enchanted dagger in a basket?! I've never found a weapon in basket in any of the vanilla containers before. Its usually alchemy stuff.. Were you using a loot adjusting mod in conjunction with Epic Balmora? I'm just as much as a purist as the next guy.. I'd freak out if I found that too!

Yay! Glad that helped! And thank you! :)
