epic flashback!

Post » Fri Sep 23, 2011 1:48 am

i remember playing daggerfall and how when you slid the mouse horizontal the sword did a slash move. when u slid the mouse up, the sword did a stabbign move, and when u slid the mouse down you did a chopping move. wow good times.

i think the console could have done that with the hat controller. during movement the hat controller is like a steering wheel, but when you engage in combat, you should be locked on the combatent(to assist your positioning) then you wigggle the hat sideways for horizontal slashes, top down for a chop, down up for a stab...not doo difficult and maybe more funner then buttom mashing, maybe in a dlc please!

Definitely not happening via DLC, ever. You don't add game-changing systems in a DLC.

I looked forward to play Daggerfall when Beth started giving it out for free at their webpage. First I was killed by a ghost in the tutorial (never even saw a silver weapon before that), then I quit the game. The fighting made me sick.
