And I've yet to figure out if it's something we can do as well? Is it a melee VATS move, or how can I be this awesome?

I've seen others claim it can not be done by the PC but i wonder. Seems Beth went to great lengths to make the PC like the NPCs in every way so it would be a shame if this was left out.

I have seen melee finishers in VATS, but never that tackle. Seen it used on my companions though. To google we go!

There are different finishers and attacks when you power attack non vats. I've done a judo flip neck break and a leg slice then Throat slit as they are on one knee among others. I've not done that one yet but I've seen a video where the PC did it ( I think)

Was that with a melee weapon or unarmed? Cause whatever it is will be my next build.

maybe it has to do with melee finisher with the blitz perk

Both have pretty neat attacks and different melee weapons have different animations but as I said haven't seen that one yet.

OMG! I had no idea we had finishing moves like MK!! LOL

I do get the point of them.. I don't melee.. ever. but that would make me want to next build!
