I'd rather have it like this, than how it was in Oblivion. Waiting with quests until you've reached a certain level...
Was this really so common? (curiosity)
It's really interesting - I went through all the gyrations needed to "control leveling" and get those +4/+5 stat bonuses, but somehow I never got on the "hey, leveled items, must hold off on these quests til later!" thing. (Like I said in another thread, it's likely due to the "open world" exploration thing... the world is there to wander in any direction you want, so finding a lv10 reward at lv10 works fine. There'll be other rewards later, when I'm higher level. Whereas the leveling & stats thing had nothing to do with the open world or exploration, it was just making sure you didn't decrease in power relative to the challenges.)
