I'm not sure if this is just a rumor or not, and I want it to be confirmed here on the forums. People have been telling me that after you reach Level 50, there's some sort of Prestige mode called "Nanosuit Reboot". I don't know what it's for, or what you get for doing it (aside from all your stuff being taken away), but can somebody confirm if this is true or not?

I've heard all kinds of stuff like upgrades to your suit, to weapon camos, to different attachments. I'm only level 19, so I can't tell you.. haha

Rebooting wouldn't reset your stats, that would be silly and very counter-intuitive since they're going to be rolling out stat-tracking to gamesas in the coming weeks in the style of Bungie.net.

After today's 3 MB update came out, i played a few games because at the time i did not know what the Update did. But i realized with my fully upgraded Retriever Module, after 3 kills i was getting Radar and not at 2 like it should be after upgrading Retriever once.

So i look and my Retriever got reset fully PLUS i was not getting progress towards it. I was forced to Reboot my Nanosuit AKA Prestige.

When i did, this is what happened: I was level 5 right away since i have Limited Edition and entered the code on Day 1. I also received a new dog tag which looks like all the others (not like Gold or anything else Eye-Popping). I played 1 game and my Kills, Wins, and Skill Kills Leaderboards got reset (which i knew was going to happened). since Level 5, I'm left with 1 Create-A-Class and all my guns and perks Locked except for the starting SCAR, DSG, etc. My Skill Assessments were put down to 1 (Armor, Power, Stealth) HOWEVER the Modules i had Upgraded once or fully ALL STILL HAD BEEN UPGRADED! I was like "oh this is f*cking awesome!" So i was playing and in a game, i got enough progress for Aim Enhance to be upgraded.. So i thought im still getting XP as if i didnt have them reset to non-upgraded.

Once i hit level 13 (where u get Grendel and Feline) I saw that all my Modules got reset to normal (Except Aim Enhance since i did upgrade that as mentioned).

I would say Upgrade your Nanosuit IF u r not top of leaderboards(in kills or wins) OR if the same thing happened to me where a module gets reset. otherwise its really not worth it (unless u get more classes or camos or cooler dogtags as ur upgrade the nanosuit more.. IDK no 1 else is higher than Prestige 1 on the game that i know of).

So you are saying all of your modules refreshed themselves to the beginning when you hit level 13. That would svck.

If it resets your leaderboard status than count me out as well......I mean until I get all MP achievments except the 6 mos. one I'll consider rebooting my suit but until I get my skill kills achievement with the other progress ones I'm staying at 50......(currently at 34)

Yea people see you have a different looking rank as in CoD.

i haven't played much since the reboot, currently only lvl 6, only noticed CELL scar skin (it's white like in the campaign) and one new dog tag awarded for rebooting (nothing special), and of course a new emblem
idk maybe there is something more later on the levels
notice that ALL YOUR STATS ARE RESET (k/d, w/l etc) except your total amount of xp

Those who have rebooted can you confirm:

> You get to keep all dog tags you have earned (mystery / medals / awards)?
> Are ALL Skill Assessments reset? (Gamesplay / Weapons as well as modules)?

i was 3 killstreaks of getting retriever 2 and now its been reset all that **** time wasted its stupid why couldnt they atleast lower it

haha ya, halogod452 was my gamertag back in halo 2, the first game i played xbox live on, and ive just left it that and i use it as my account names for different things cuz its easy to remember

Yeah, there's a prestige mode. Only you don't pick when it happens, you'll log on one day and all your stats and unlocks will have been reset.
