wat ive been told to fix this problem is to uninstall brink and reinstall thru steam with out using the disk im trying atm and ill let u know if it works

I'm having the same exact problem! I took the liberty of FRAPS'n it just in case the Dev's don't know exactly what we're talking about.

ALL DEVELOPERS COME HERE!!!! I HAVE A RECORDING OF THE PROBLEM!!!! THIS IS AFTER THE 13.0 MB UPDATE RELEASED SOMETIME ON HOUR 11 AM EASTERN TIME! (Improved crash reports)

For me the problem was that my graphics card (or something that had to do with visuals) wasn't up to date, so I just had to update it through Steam and all was well.
  • Open Steam
  • Go to top left of browser
  • Hover mouse over "Steam"
  • Move mouse down in drop-down list to: "update AMD drivers"
  • Install the update and wait until it's finished
  • Enjoy your "now working" copy of Brink!

We're just going to have to wait for an update. They didn't write anywhere that they accepted the fact that the game was bugged on their side, but they did implement it by releasing an update for the crash logs so they're more elaborate.

well uninstalling and reinstalling thru steam didnt work at all i wonder if its just the disk or if its somethin else like i wonder if i get a new disk and redo it will it work any1 try that yet

i found a way to get rid of the game rendering context [censored] but i ran into another prob mine now says brink has stopped working
