I am actually so fed up with this [censored] error. I've done validation on my steam cache files. I've deleted a few out of my data folder because I can't even go into my Subscribed List and see any mods in there?!

I've been playing for hours this morning, and then I was closing skyrim down to uninstall a mod that I was going to end up installing later on. I left to go do a few things and come back on 6 or so hours later ready to play again (I didn't install the mod yet) I click on the skyrim launcher and that error comes up. I've restarted my computer and steam several times and still nothing.

Please tell me I'm not the only one getting this ?

You're not. The WS forums are full of people reporting this issue.
