ES5 versus Competitive Ideas

Since Fallout and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion the market of RPGs has seen many successes and failures. This topic is generally aimed at gathering information and opinions as to what Bethesda should watch upon release in 3 months or for DLC content. Since Fallout personally I've played Dragon Age 1-2, Mass Effect 2, Fable 3, etc. But never have taken a liking as much as I have to all Bethesda's RPGs Fallout & Elder Scrolls. Finding that the level of detail in each games is immense to be the key figure in excellence. However (question time) in absence of a new beloved ES game, other games have shown special qualities. Thus:

Question series one: Has there been any clarification as to the limits or properties of the new magic system, including: Can the environment be uses in combination with a spell for instance a wet target or one in water is electrified greater than dry? (such as in bioshock series, dark messiah, or Magicka) As these less static effects are rather entertaining, leading to if so are these environment/spell combinations illustrated? As well will spells have variation? As in can you create a flame wall instead of a flame bolt much in the same functionality of changing direction of your blade strikes? Such effects we're not well seen within the demo-play... thus I question.

Second series of questions: As many games have crossed into the multiplayer realm (assassin creed, fable, red dead redemption, etc.) can we expect any Co-op or PvP in arena? Or is this entirely out of Bethesda's capabilities to create? I will also note in addition to this question I polled Elder Scrolls Elite on Gamespot.com and 64% disliked the idea.

Third series of questions: What level of customization can we expect within generally everything? While Bethesda has never disappointed in character creation and has made mention of a smithing job in ES5 as expect from the sightings of the concept in the Shivering Isle DLC for ES4; I am left curious as to any news or idea of let's say templates for designs in smithing of clothes... what I mean is I chooses an elvish design but use steel to create armor...? Instead of the fixed clothing found in previous Bethesda RPGs. As well will there be customizable relations to the peoples of Skyrim and companions as in they independently act to your actions and can change to befit interaction?

Finally I realize that many of the creatures in Skyrim are based of Norse Mythology from what I gather (not super knowledgeable on ES lore) but with the new upgrades into AI movement and graphical structure... I was wondering will you finally include a phoenix? (dlc?) C'mon its my favorite creature and no one includes it yet its name is always used.

I apologize for any ignorance I may have stated. Lots of Love ? Apollo ?

The ES series has far too large of a modding community that alters far too much of the game to allow for a multiplayer option. Besides, I believe Todd mentioned his detest for multiplayer as I recall.

Also, they want all multiplayer discussion in http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1119156-official-tes-multiplayerco-op-thread/....

(There's not going to be any in Skyrim, guaranteed, so discussion of it should be in the general "series" forum....)
