Hello,

I got the mission to escort him out. He is down below the spiral staircase and refuses to follow me up the staircase to get him out. Is this a quest bug?

EDIT: The spiral staircase is a dead end, I have been trying to get him out of it to get him to an exit

If you're on PC you can use the console to move him to your location.

ok, I have all the unofficial patches but it is still not working, I loath using the console to complete stuff but I just might have to do it

Just an FYI for the unofficial patch crew, I got this mission by activating a lever and he popped up. I did not speak to any NPC to get the mission.

Ok, I have never used the coc before, how to I coc him to me? hehe
