ESO has no rivals ATM?

It should have just been implemented into WoW... I mean they have people playing it in the shrines in pandaria

As for the original issue with EQN stalled and if people honestly want to give a NCSOFT game a chance ESO has no rivals in its genre for a few months except guild wars and star citizen

I think many people would not play if it were included in WoW.

there actually is no competition ESO is in its own genre and there are no games slotted to be released within at least the next two years of its genre

Wildstar ?! Ahahahahahaha, that's WoW in space. I'm not exaggerating, Wildstar = WoW 0.8. Wildstar is WoW's competitor, not ESO's. And a poor competitor for WoW as well.

ESO is an entirely different game and aimed at a different audience.

But it's still a MMORPG.

Ppl that don't care about all the cartoonish things will see it as one of ESO's direct competitors.

The big rivals in the market are the two big sub based mmo's, WoW and FFXIV, one still manages to pull back (after the free month) a lot the people who leave to check out other mmo's when these launch, the other just keeps rising player wise and still hasnt launched in all it's platforms and countries, at this point FFXIV has 1.8 million paying subscribers and is huge with the console and pc cross platform gameplay.

Those are the big games ESO needs to worry about, not something that will launch god knows when.
